The quality is good and although I can't really comment on value for money ( due to only being computer beginner) but to me it definitely was value for money and was also easy to install and has definitely improved the quality of my gaming.

Fitted to an old Dell slimline desktop after upgrading to an SSD and more memory, this is the most powerful card I could fit. It performs everyday tasks well and a spot of video editing in Wondershare. I'm able to play "last gen" games okay, such as Day Z on medium detail.

Good fit for Dell optiplex 7020 SFF

This worked without issue since installing in Feb2025. Around Nov 2025 it started to glitch, failed to load at boot-up, display would show as low definition 800x600, ran hot (even though not used for gaming and set at default performance level ie mainly for supporting photo editing). Unplugging the connector and reconnecting 'solved' the issue but it returns randomly. Have reinstalled twice but problem remains. All drivers are up to date. Note that Windows 11 device manager is not showing any warning. In contrast built-in graphics work without any problem. I suspect it is simply failing so have now raised this with supplier and await response. It should be covered by a standard 12 month warranty I hope. Reluctant to gave this only single star but this simply reflects the issues that I am now experiencing. Updated January 2026. Excellent response from Maxsun UK customer support who offered a hassle free return. So 5 stars for that. I have also done a bit of background searching and can see that quite a number of people have had issues with AMD Radeon based cards recently following W11 updates. It seems for some that the updates cause driver and or security issues. It could well be that the glitching that I experienced was due to this and nothing to do with the Maxsun card itself, I just don't know. I would not hesitate to purchase from Maxsun again though as they really do support their products well.

This was purchased as an upgrade to the Intel UHD Graphics 630 onboard graphics system of a three year old Lenovo IdeaCentre desktop pc. The result is a significant improvement in speed and quality of graphics performance. Key note 1: there are no installation instructions and software included in the package. However the relevant software is available via the AMD site using its web installation program. Plus there are various YouTube videos available describing the Radeon 550 card inclusive of installation and games performance. Key note 2: the photos on the Amazon site for the GPU show an older design. The current card is boxed in on the fan side. Key note 3: no power cable in required to operate the card; ie it draws ts power via the PCI slot
