Same product for less? Sign me up! I felt no burning sensation or anything of the sort. I was a bit scared 😂. Works exactly as described. My skin feels clean after using it. It's super easy to use, just open the cap and squeeze. Decent amount for how much it costs. It isn't oily at all. Skin feels moisturizer after using it, not dry. Bottle is same size as competitors.

I started using this after my surgery, and over the past few weeks I’ve seen gradual improvement in the appearance of my scar. It’s softer, lighter, and not as raised as before. The texture of the product is nice and absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling. It does take consistency and time, but I think it’s been helpful. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to improve healing.

Such a good product, my dermatologist suggested Panaxol. This is a great alternative! Lower price and same active ingredients.

It works, no new acne or breakouts when used regularly. But wow it is very irritating and drying! The reviews are not exaggerating! Be sure to have a moisturizer to put on right after. I find this a bit harsher than the panoxyl 10%, though they are comparing this to a clean and clear wash and I haven’t tried that one yet. Not sure if I’d buy it again, I’d rather just spend the extra few bucks for a gentler formula that does the same job.

If you have ever used the Clean & Clear Acne Control product that used to be sold over counter several years ago (it came in a similar deep purple and white bottle) , you would know that this Amazon Basics version is the EXACT same formulation. I have been using this product for years and it truly is a staple product for keeping mild to moderate acne, acne fare ups and hormonal acne under control. I am a primary care physician and often recommend this to my patients and people with acne-prone skin along with other over-the-counter and prescriptions products for their personalized acne regimen. I haven't found another benzoyl peroxide cleanser that is affordable, accessible and as potent as this product. I do caution people that the benzoyl peroxide is known to bleach colored fabrics, so wash hands thoroughly after applying and be mindful of what the treated skin comes in contact with because it can bleach pillow and bed sheets, towels and clothes if used on the body as well. One thing I am not a fan of is it has a whitish pasty residue that sometimes lingers on the skin especially if the skin is oily at baseline, so be mindful of that. You may need do an extra rinse of the face to reduce the film appearance or applying moisturizer, sunscreen and/or makeup which can help to blend it in. It does have a mild menthol fragrance, so if anyone is sensitive to fragrance then do a skin patch test or purchase a fragrance-free alternative. I highly recommend this product due to how effective it is. Consistency is key.

Unfortunately, this product started to make my skin burn. I only wash my face at night with this and I use a thick moisturizer like aquaphor. I literally have to use ice cubes to attempt to cool down the burning sensation. It does bleach your towels so be careful. Also, it did lather nice and it felt like it was cleaning my skin, but sadly this doesn’t work for me and my acne.

This works so well! I have tried so many different products. It keeps my skin clear and takes away the rashy redness. It tightens my pours too. It definitely does bleach towels though. So beware!

this has a menthol fragrance added to it that panoxyl does not have, and i love it bc it feels really cold and tingly on my face. i like to leave it on for a few minutes while im in the shower and then rinse it off and it leaves a nice cold tingly feeling on my whole face. my partner does NOT like the menthol scent at all. he thinks this kind hurts his face and feels really drying, so he doesnt leave it on for any time and he switched back to panoxyl. its great quality, a large size for the price, and cleans skin well, but i guess for some it can be too strong with the menthol and drying (he was already using 10% before this so its not the strength of the bpo).
