Large Staveley Mobility Scooter Cape

Being recently mobility impaired and using a small scooter, I wanted a really good cover for rainy days and this is it! I wanted something without sleeves as I would have found these too much on top of a coat with sleeves, so this is more of a cape and it covers me, the scooter and the front basket perfectly. I particularly use it at football matches where those of us on scooters or in wheelchairs are seated at the front of the stand, where it's not completely under cover, but this did a perfect job - even in the recent very heavy rains, I remained completely dry and protected. It slips over the head, is elasticated at the bottom so it doesn't blow around, fastens along the top with a touch-close fastening (very easy to use) and the hood is draw-string so you can have it as loose or tight as needed. There's a see-through plastic front so I can still see the controls on the scooter and also a fluorescent stripe down the back to help with visibility on dark afternoons. A great buy which I'd thoroughly recommend, particularly as it doesn't break the bank!

I actually bought this to use for my bike when cycling to keep me & my bike as dry as possible. It is a good item however, my only wish is that it was elasticated at the back like it is in the front. The back gets blown up with the wind blocking my mirrors and also disrupting other cyclists.

Excellent small enough to pack into the seat pocket and large enough to cover me plus most of the scooter. It dries off in a few minuites ready to be folgrg put into the bag provided and back into the seat pocket.
