Removed the solar replacement lights from box.... turned them on & viola! both work & are very bright! They came on at night, no problem. For me, it's all about the actual light assembly....Bulbs are sooo much better & brighter than those led strip thingies that are flat. And thanks to the company for giving a true description/picture of the side showing the bulb that I was specifically looking for. The only problem is that my measurements were just a "nano" millimeter too small for the container it sits in. BUT hey, think outside the box. I took some pliers, bent the rim up straight & the replacement lights fit in perfectly. (Put some electricians tape around the rim to hide any crinkled metal from the pliers). Good value for the money (2 in pkg), as well as super bright light! Would buy again from this company.

Bought these to fit a standard pair of porcelain solar lanterns that had stopped working . Fit perfectly! ( note there are 2 sizes ) Worked straight out of the box . Saved having to buy new lanterns . Very pleased . Good value . They have worked every night for the last 2 months since purchased . Very good quality and durable tops . Charge during the day . Light up my steps at night !

Bought these to replace one in a small outdoor garden sculpture. It works well. Charges all day and provides a nice bright light overnight.

still working great. We had to replace the old ones since a lot of rain seems to make them wear out quicker...moisture always gets in there somehow. I put a little vaseline on areas where I think water could get in and that helps a litttle,but I am going to try some hydrophobic spray that repels water. the soloar top always seems to get cloudy after a while, so I have learned to spray a little alcohol on it and lightly rub/clean it off with a fine 'steel wool' pad. then wipe that off with a clean cloth and add a dab of mineral oil. this helps a lot to get it absorbing the sunlight to recharge.

One lasted only one month, other other is weaking. The first batch lasted maybe a year... don't buy these!!!

These are great to replace in laterns on my back deck that no longer were working. All I needed to do was pop out the battery on the top of the lantern and set this in its place. Just turn to on and providing it gets sun during the day you will have a very bright light that stays lit for a long time at night.Great value.

Both worked for a week, now one doesn't work anymore, Very disappointed.
