Can the Motion Sensor be shut off so the spot light stays on and shuts on and off with daylight??

They have a manual On/ off override switch. I never used them for dusk till dawn. I would think so with the on/off override switch. they really work well as a motion sensor light.

Why do I have to put the on and off switch on every day? It gets direct sunlight every day.

I bought four of them but only two worked at all. One’s that worked didn’t need to be switched on but once. Yours is probably defective.

Will it program to stay on ?

No, when there is no motion it goes off. There is no program to change it.

how high off the ground can you place these lights to catch the 25 feet distance?

Sorry, I installed mine in the ground. Don't know how they would react up high. They work from a sensor so I don't think they would work more that 6 feet high.
