6 years going strong
I have had this box on my 2009 Polaris Trail Boss for over 6 years. Everyone in my family rides, and we have all agreed that this is by far the best box for storage, passenger comfort, and sturdiness. Not once has the box shifted or moved at all, even when the quad gets tipped on it's side. There are barely even any scratches on it. Also, I've never gotten water in the box from rain, so anything inside is always perfectly dry.The fact that the arm rests come so far forward makes it extremely comfortable for passengers, big or small. It feels very secure for kids, acting as a kind of seat belt. The kids will often fall asleep back there, and as long as I slide back a bit, there is little risk of them falling off. I did remove the bottom seat pad because the kids said it wasn't comfortable, so now they just sit directly on the Polaris seat. Of all the machines, my siblings want to ride with me because this is the most comfortable of all the box/seats we have.My one complaint would be that the latches are kinda junky. I wish they were more metal than plastic. One of the latches broke off about 3 years ago, but the one remaining latch is holding tight and I'm not at all worried about it coming loose. If my box ever breaks, I am definitely going to purchase another one of these. It is incredibly reliable, and the amount of storage inside is amazing! Totally worth the money.

Great Storage! Fantastic Storage! Buy it for the Storage! Has a few quirks.
As far as storage goes, this is it! I was able to fit 5 thin jackets, my first aid kit, a small plastic bin with snacks, water bottles and 3 small "lunch sized” coolers in it with a bit more room. The install on our ’04 Honda foreman was 1.5-2 hours. Hubby is handy. He had to take the rack off to install it.I’m giving it high ratings because the storage is unbelievable. But here are some quirks.**The latches don’t stay closed. I was able to find a small carabiner that kept it latched well.**Don’t forget to take the seats off while traveling. We lost them somewhere on the road. We will attach the replacements with small screws.**I would recommend carrying water bottles in a container rather than throwing them in loose. They jostled around and hit the bolts, which put holes in our bottles.**We “break the rules” (gasp) and ride double. My husband and son (who are 5’9”) loved it. My adult daughter and I, who are 5’4” and shorter, didn’t love it. We couldn’t touch our feet and we kept sliding out. The hand grips didn’t help hold us back, since we were already sliding forward. We couldn’t reach over the arm rests to grab the rack (we are short). I ended up coming down a steep hill holding onto the back of the box and trying to balance on my tip toes. Not the most comfortable way to ride when you have a 2nd seat. I finally just sat on the main seat behind my husband, pushing him into the handlebars. In hindsight, some of those issues may have been our fault. Here are our plans to solve the dilemma. 1) We believe the seat is at a 90 angle, but our rack slopes down. We will reinstall with some shims on the front to make it tip back more. 2) We may have installed it too far back. We will move it closer to the driver seat so our feet can touch. 3) We may consider installing passenger foot pegs. 4) We may create some handles to attach to the rack that we can reach over to hold us sideways. So, the quirks may not be with the trunk as much as they are the ATV's sloping rack and the short people. The storage is amazing, and according to the manufacturer, that’s why we buy it-NOT to ride double. Once we take care of the quirks, I think we will love this trunk.

Great for our youngest
Our neighbor has a seat like this for the back of their four-wheeler and works great for their kids so we decide to get one for my youngest you can ride behind now. If you're smaller it also works for an adult because I tried it behind my boyfriend. Was nice and sturdy for him to sit and not wiggle around too much. The only downside was ours came damaged one of the clasps for the hatch was broke but we didn't want to have to go through sending it back so we just have one that locks it. At first we were like there is no way it's going to fit two helmets but it fit two helmets really nicely. This is really nice to have and this one wasn't very expensive but still sturdy.

Actual cushions (not hard, styrofoam) would make this a 5 star product.
I was so excited to receive this seat. However, after inspecting the product I found that the so-called "comfortable seat and back rest" are no more than styrofoam and about 1/4 inch of weak batting and a fabric cover. The armrests are also not padded. the picture looks as if they are but it is just molded plastic. The arm rests would not be a big deal but when combined with the lack of cushion on the seat and back rest I feel that I need to either return the product completely or refill the cushion seats with some actual cushion myself. I am going to look into the cost of some good memory foam cushion from the local fabric store before making my decision to return the product or not. I imagine I will have to invest another $30.00 to make this seat actually comfortable. The rear latches, hinge and mounting hardware seem adequate. I was actually impressed with the 2 rear latches and how they lock into place after the back is closed. The plastic portion seems very durable and heavy duty without being overly heavy. (I could easily pull the entire seat out of the box with one arm outstretched). Overall, I think it will work for me because I am handy and can add my own cushions, but if you want an actual cushion for a seat instead of cheap styrofoam, look at another product.

Works great on my 2000 Yamaha Kodak
Little hard getting the bolt to line up when you have a little bit bigger hands but once all bolted down it works great. Lots of room for helmets or gear in the back.

Very nice lounger
Really happy with Price and quality of the box. Ony complaint is no gasket on the rear door. It WILL fill up with dust after a day of trail riding. Two motor cross style helmets do fit but tight! I was looking at used loungers, but this price was excellent for a new one!

A good quality seat, but may need modification depending on ATV model.
Had to be modified on my model of ATV, seat top hit your back in the wrong place so not comfortable.
