LeMotech Junction Box, Electrical Box IP65 Water Resistant Dustproof ABS Plastic Project Enclosure for Electronics White 5.9 x 5.9 x 2.8 inch

This is a replacement for one that I have had in use for several years. The caulking around a project hole wore out and caused a leak, so a replacement was needed. It houses a water sensor for my pond fountain that turns off the fountain when water level drops too low. My only complaint is the screws holding the box together rusted together so I had to drill them out which damaged the box. Otherwise, this is a good product and worth the money. I am going back together with stainless steel screws just in case!

We needed a small junction box to place surround sound speakers cords and extension in the ceiling and this worked perfect. It is plastic but is hard. Came with expansions screws and rubber grommets for knock outs.

Super cheap so you kinda get what you pay for. Walls are super thin and box Flexes a lot

I got this box to install a POE security camera for the house, I wanted the camera to be attached to the box in order to hide some of the excess cable that came with the box. Overall this box was exactly what I wanted for my project, it is pretty durable for being plastic and the box comes with everything needed to mount and run at least 2 cables out of it (I only needed 1). The craftsmanship of the box is really good, quite exceeding my expectations for the price, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in need of a product like this.There is one thing I think could be improved with this box. As I've mentioned earlier I bought this to mount a POE security camera, while I loved that this box came with 1/2" cable glands but the outside cap of the glands is just a TAD too small for a standard RJ45 connector (even without any sleeves) to go through. It is an easy fix where I just used a step drill bit to make the cap a bit bigger but after getting the cable through even when screwed all the way in there is still a little bit of space between the cable and the gland seal. I don't know if it is because I made the cap bigger but luckily where I mounted the box isn't be exposed to weather. Maybe this box isn't designed to have a CAT5 cable run through the gland but with POE stuff being very popular these days I think the manufacturer should take that into consideration.

Needed to put a remote wifi controlled 120 vax on/off switch for a dock light. Instructions said it needed to be protected from rain/ salt spray. The plastic box has rubber gaskets on the lid and since the ‘box & lid are made of plastic the WiFi signal passes into it so the WiFi receiver/ switching module connected to a power wire I ran all works perfectly from inside our house 150 feet away!

This junction box is nice but the top does not have screws to keep it on. The top snaps together instead of being screwed on. It does seem like a good fit but I worry about weather changes and how well the top will stay securely together. I’m sure there is a place for this particular junction box but it does not meet my needs. Product was returned.

I got tired of the rain constantly causing problems with my wifi cameras outside, so I wanted a weatherproof box to put the connections in. I'm very pleased that this came with rubber hole covers. I could put a slit in the cover and pass the connectors from the camera through it. It doesn't seal 100% around the wire but keeping that opening on the bottom with a drip loop, I can't see much moisture getting inside. Box is very sturdy with a plethora of places to put screws or cables through the sides and bottom.

Very frustrating having to wait two days only to have the box not have enough screws. There should be 8 screws. 4 to mount the box to a wooden surface and 4 smaller screws to secure the "door". Mine did not have the 4 small screws. If I don't have any in my collection I'll be sending this back. That's some pretty bad QC, hence the 1 star review.

The box is OK and woyld be fine except that it has no UL/CSA/CE, etc approvals. If your project will require electrical inspection, don't use this box.
