Shocked at the amount of control this has, and the reach of the stream
I've been looking at these for a while but held off because I thought it might be a gimmick. I'm pleasantly surprised now that I got it though, it's much better than I expected! I have a very narrow but somewhat long front yard and regular oscillating sprinklers don't work because to keep it from spraying either my roof or the street I have to turn the flow down so low I need to move the sprinkler every time I water. Those days are thankfully gone now, with this sprinkler it allows me to tighten the spread, yet keep the flow at 100% so it's a nice long spray. I'm thrilled with how this works! It's not metal, and that's the only drawback I can see so far, but it works exactly as advertised and I couldn't be happier. PROS: • Adjustability. Due to the way it's built the adjustments allow unbelievable control over the coverage area. • Construction. Seems well-built. I wish it had metal connectors, but to keep costs down it's 100% plastic • Ease of use. No instructions are needed, just screw it together and set it out. • Rotating head. I didn't think this would matter to me, but now that I got it I like that you can set it so the hose is positioned correctly and use the rotating head to align it perfectly CONS: • All plastic. The only thing I can think of as a con, and I understand why it's not got a metal connecter. You won't go wrong with this, and the generous return options make it a no-brainer!

My Lawn’s Tiny Emergency Response Team
My main sprinkler system decided it was done participating in lawn care, so these little beasts have been helping keep what little grass I have left from turning into crispy Utah landscaping. I liked the first one enough that I bought a second. That probably says more than anything else I can put in a review. They are compact, easy to move around, and surprisingly capable for their size. The adjustments for direction, width, and range make it easy to target a specific section of yard instead of watering the sidewalk, fence, neighbor's dog, and occasionally the actual lawn. The sled base has also been nice. It stays put well and does not constantly tip over or wander around once the water pressure kicks in. The quick connect fittings make moving them around even easier, which matters when you are basically operating a manual life support system for your grass. These obviously are not replacing a full sprinkler system, but they have been doing a fantastic job filling in while mine is out of commission. Small, adjustable, dependable, and apparently good enough that I now own two of them. My lawn may be hanging on by a thread, but these little guys are holding the thread.

Great sprinkler, fatal flaw
Let me start by saying that I love these sprinklers when they work. I have 3 of them. Two for each side of my home and a third to replace one that ‘broke’. The replacement sprinkler is now having the same issues as the one it replaced. They are great at dispersing water, very customizable to adjust spray depth, width, volume, etc. and they are daisy-chain-able which is great. However, they have two flaws and one of them is fatal enough to make the sprinklers not worth it over the long term. The first issue is minor - the spout the water shoots from is made of some kind of rubber/silicone type material and after time of use, it falls apart. You can press your finger into it and it will crumble. Because of that, water still shoots from the spout, but not in a uniform way (think of the jet setting vs the soaker setting on your hose spray nozzle) which can make it difficult to adjust to cover your lawn well. The second issue is the most fatal and is quite frustrating. The threaded collar that attached to the hose on this sprinkler is plastic, and it is only help on by a plastic lip on the sprinkler itself which is friction fit. Over a couple months, the collar starts to pop off from the pressure of the hose alone. You cannot pick up the sprinkler to move it without it popping off and the hose absolutely soaking you in water. This is frustrating as I have an average sized yard and need to move the sprinkler about 4-5 times throughout a day to get my whole lawn. In order to do so, I must hook everything up, turn the hose on, let it water that spot, then turn the hose off, move the sprinkler, retighten the hose to the sprinkler (often requiring to unthread it fully and rethread it), and then turn the sprinkler back on. Even then, it often comes apart just in turning the hose on. All in all, this is a great sprinkler but it’s inconvenient enough to where I don’t think I’d buy another unfortunately. I believe they make (or made at some point) a metal version of the same sprinkler and that one might be better despite the higher cost.

Good value, but need to manually adjust starting position
This is a solid sprinkler with plenty of adjustability for flow, width, range, and direction. I like being able to customize the spray pattern to fit different areas of the yard, and it puts out a good amount of water. My only real complaint is that when you extend the range farther out, the coverage becomes less consistent and leaves some dead zones that don't get watered well. Otherwise, it's easy to use and works well for regular lawn watering. Overall, a good sprinkler with a few limitations.

Compact, Powerful, and Excellent Lawn Coverage
The Melnor MiniMax Turbo Sprinkler is a great choice for anyone looking for an efficient and easy-to-use sprinkler for lawn and garden watering. Despite its compact size, it delivers impressive water coverage and provides a consistent spray pattern for keeping grass, flower beds, and gardens healthy. The adjustable design makes it easy to customize the watering area, helping prevent wasted water on sidewalks, driveways, or unwanted areas. The Turbo Drive system operates smoothly and provides even coverage without the harsh movement found in some traditional sprinklers. The lightweight design makes it simple to move and set up, while the durable construction feels built to handle regular outdoor use. It is a convenient option for homeowners who want reliable watering without installing a permanent irrigation system. For the price, this sprinkler offers excellent performance, flexibility, and value. It is a practical tool for maintaining a healthy yard with minimal effort.

Very easy and practical to use
This watering oscillation system works wonders, the fact that I can adjust the width of the water is a great advantage, the gradual adjustments are also great benefit because I can select very precisely how far I want the water to reach. Light weight but sits well on the grass and stays in place without any problems. Highly recommended and it is a must have product if your sprinklers got out on you (this is what happened to me and chose to purchase this product while I get my system checked, but I may stay with this oscillating system and stop using the sprinklers for a while.

Excellent quality and versatile sprinkler.
This is one of the best sprinklers out there. I've had some for years(when they don't get run over or dropped or that kind of thing. They work for small yards , larger yards and odd shaped yards. I like that I can daisy chain them. You can adjust the height, width and length if the spray. Works perfectly in my small yards. I have one for the front and back.

Love it for my small yard.
Love, Love, Love this sprinkler. I do not have high water pressure and this little guy works like a dream. It does feel fragile, but I'm a year in and it's still working fine. Our hard water is probably what will end its service life. It has a lot of adjustments, the water flow seems good, it is very light weight, made of plastic all the way, and feels a little cheap, but mine has worked flawlessly.

Amazing for big gardens
This sprinkler is so good I’m considering getting a second and connecting it everyone told me I have bad water pressure but this sprinkler does at least 8 to 10 feet high and probably a good 15 feet wide and I have a huge garden and this is amazing

good for low pressure water
I rarely write reviews but felt this might help people who have ridiculously low water pressure as I do. I have just had a new lawn laid and my usual sprinklers were just useless. Being a large area I was beginning to worry I would lose the newly laid turf, then I saw this on a youtube video. It has made a huge difference and has tripled the area reached compared to two other types I tried. Very happy.
