Good but it's proprietary
Wireless charging in smartphones is almost a standard, all due to their smaller dimensions. It could be harder with the tablet, but the Pitaka MagEZ Pro case for iPad mini 6 changes the situation. Does it make any sense? The manufacturer approached the subject differently, because there is USB C in the lower part of the case, the tablet must be inserted so that it reaches the port. The cover is a combination of aramid fiber and rubber, thanks to which it is easy to insert and remove the tablet, even despite the presence of USB C.At first glance, you can see that MagEZ Pro can thicken the tablet, but eventually also protect it from damage. Fortunately, not the iPad mini 6 in combination with the cover does not become heavier. The access to the buttons is perfect, they are just as good to use as without the case. The cutouts for the speakers and the microphone are perfectly made. Due to the placement of the USB-C inside, there is no cutout on the outside for the port on the tablet.Theoretically, the backs do not differ from those in most covers. The X on the back informs the user that this is where the charger from the set should be connected. Everything connects magnetically and the connection is firm.On one of the sides there is room for an Apple Pencil 2nd gen. The stylus sticks perfectly and an additional element for a better fit is not necessary. The Apple Pencil has not fallen off its place even once. The charger has an almost perfect cable length (1.2m), it is made of similar materials as the case, but its housing is made of plastic. The cable is USB C and you need your own power adapter / charger for charging. The Pita! Flow charger is a non-standard solution and works only with MagEZ Pro and iPad mini 6. It does not work like Qi or MagSafe chargers, because the connection between it and the additional accessory differs from the above-mentioned standards. There is one in the set, but nothing prevents you from buying additional ones.Initially, I did not think that the iPad mini 6 would charge quickly, but the 20W charging does not differ from the wired one. That is why the charging time from 20 - 100% closes in more than an hour (same as on the cable).I was positively surprised by the loading speed, although I set myself up for a slow one. All because previous approaches were unsuccessful.Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro for iPad mini 6 is a breath of fresh air when it comes to charging the tablet. The case itself is the highest in terms of quality, workmanship and appearance, although it is available in one color. The charger is impressive, although the cable should be thicker, because it may break one day. It would be best if it had a thicker braid. It's good that you can still use the stylus, it's important if someone has it and uses it often.

This is not a MagSafe product
There’s a few reviews on the internet that say this will give you a ‘MagSafe like’ effect. But be warned, it’s not that simple. The case feels like a really nice product, but if you are looking for a MagSafe case for iPad, sadly this isn’t one. Infact, at the time of reviewing I can’t find anything similar online. The issue I have with this product is that it uses its own unique magnet system, so it is completely incomparable with the circular MagSafe system.A shame really, as it had some real potential.I’ve returned mine for a refund.
