Prefect Travel Stroller
As a mom who’s constantly on the move, I love the Bugaboo Butterfly stroller! It’s super lightweight at just 16 lbs, folds up quickly with one hand, and is compact enough to fit in airplane overhead bins—perfect for travel! The seat is spacious and comfy, making it great for naps, and the stroller glides smoothly on all surfaces. I also appreciate the large storage basket and the full-coverage canopy for sun protection. The only small downside is that it doesn’t lay completely flat, but overall, it’s been fantastic for our adventures!

LOVE this travel stroller
We use our Uppababy Cruz V2 as our regular stroller, but we love this Buggaboo Butterfly! The size is amazing and fits compactly in the trunk of our CR-V, so we just keep it there for unplanned shopping trips and such. The ride is smooth and it's comfortable to push for my husband (6'0") and I (5'8"). The wheel base is a little narrow in the back, but that's what makes it so compact when folded. I could see how it would be easy to tip, but you just have to be careful and not make sudden tight turns. We loop our hands through the safety strap when pushing on hills or in busy areas. We really like the buckle and the fact that they kind of spring away from the seat, which makes it easy to buckle in a wiggly toddler. I also like that each strap buckles on it's own.I thought I wouldn't like the lack of a true peekaboo window on the canopy, but I actually don't mind it at all. If I want to see my daughter, I just unzip the expander and look at her through the mesh panel.I like the reclining mechanism of the stroller seat, and my favorite thing about it is how tall the seat back is! Our toddler is tall for her age and so many other travel strollers have seat backs that looked uncomfortable for her. This one works really well for her! The footrest is also really nice to have so she can prop up her tired legs.I can't bring myself to pay $39 for a cupholder, but I do like the bumper bar accessory. It also comes with a rain cover, which is nice for those of us in the PNW.I would highly recommend this for those looking for a compact but high-end stroller. We're looking forward to using it for plane travel soon.

Works for 3 month old
My first airline trip is coming up in a month and this stroller seems perfect for travel.PRO’s - well made, excellent materials, lightweight, generous canopy & easy to fold (although maybe not as seamless as the videos make it seem - it gets slightly stuck sometimes but it’s really ok and not that serious.). I’d say 75% of the time it will fold/unfold with one hand.CON’s: I wish it had a full recline for super little ones but I found a work around for my 12 week old. Since these strollers are typically not recommended until at least 4-6 months, I purchased an Uppa Baby newborn insert for more support so she can nap comfortably. Photos show before and after - with and without it. I’m sure as the little one gets bigger, I will love this stroller even more than I already do. It also folds with the insert which is nice.Update: At 4.5 months old no insert is needed. Baby has good head control and can easily nap with the max recline. She also seems very happy in the upright position. The unfold mechanism takes some getting used to and I can now open it with 1 hand 90% of the time.

Tight Space Magic
Best compact stroller ever! It fits in the floorboard space of the back (as well as in the trunk of a small car). Easy open and close! Light weight. The ride is smooth but doesn't handle uneven pavement well. No assembly required, came ready to go straight out of the box. Love, love, love that the straps naturally stick up. Makes putting him in so easy since in not fishing under him for straps. Basket isn't anything to get excited about, but definitely big enough for diaper bag. I often take this when my mom and I go shopping. He loves to run and this fits easily folded in the cart (leaving plenty of room for stuff) while I chase him but comes back out if he becomes a handful or gets tired. He prefers it to the cart. Son is 2 and about 36 in. Still plenty of room between canopy and his head!Cons: It is always in a reclined position, does not sit straight up which my son doesn't like. It does recline quite a bit if baby falls asleep (mine doesn't so not really a feature we use). Foot/leg rest is really adjustable but fabric is tight. I always feel like I'm going to bust it when folding in or out to fold stroller.Bottom line is it's a versatile, lightweight compact stroller that rides smooth yet can fit in tight spaces. Perfect if you have a small car or value trunk space like me. It's not good off-road but is a smooth push on even ground.

Great lightweight stroller that is perfect for travel!
Just got my Bugaboo butterfly yesterday and was so excited to get it set up and start using it. We have a big bulky stroller and living in Brooklyn and having to deal with any type of stairs is just a huge issue. I really wanted a lightweight stroller but we do t have much space so when I saw the butterfly and how small it collapsed I immediate had to get it.I must say, It’s so easy to set up and break down! It is just as easy as all of the videos I saw online. Sometimes I see a video and think that looks easy…until I use it when I’m left wondering how in the world something works. It opens, locks, and collapses easily and can be done with one hand (important when you have a baby in the other). It's so light and the shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. I can easily see how this fits in a plane overhead compartment. Speaking of a plane overhead compartment I can tell it's going to be great for travel. We are headed to the beach this weekend and not having my uppababy vista take up our entire trunk is gonna be a game changer. Also, I got green and the color is beautiful - someone stopped me on the street to ask me about it.
