I was using a different tanning oil earlier this summer in Texas and it was taking me awhile to tan but I started using this tanning oil now that I'm back in Seattle and it actually works so well! I got super brown in just a few days of Seattle sun. Definitely will make this my new go to for summer when I'm trying to tan!

Maui Island secret browning formula is by far my favorite!! Smells good, hydrates the skin while tanning, and works great, the best part is it doesn't stain your favorite swim suit, clothing, hands, nails, ECT. I use to use Maui Babe for the longest time (every so often still do because I have some still left in the bottle 😂) but since finding Maui Island secret browning formula I will not be any more of the other. This stuff is spot on, awesomeness getting you to the level of sun kiss brown you want to be!!

I really liked this, it’s more of a gel/ oil gets your hands really greasy but washed off easily with water/ soap. Absorbed really easily into the skin and helped me brown up some, being someone extremely pale this helped me get a few shades darker without burning too bad. I used it in conjunction with 50 spf too layered underneath. I liked the smell, some people don’t but I thought it smelled pleasant and I’ve got a very sensitive nose. Would buy again, I also bought the aloe vera too same brand and it helped a lot when I did get burnt a little on the face.

I'm a natural blonde with blue eyes and light/medium skintone; I usually only burn on my face, chest and shoulders. Besides that, I tan fairly easily but I don't get that dark brown tan, just a pretty radiant gold tan. I actually stopped sun worshipping about 8 years ago but we were going on a family trip and I figured why not get a good tan. I applied lots of vitamin C and aloe after to prevent sun damage but that's another review. I was SUPER impressed with the product. Yes, it is greasy but I use coconut oil as everyday lotion so that didn't bother me at all. The smell is kinda coconut yet subtle. My favorite thing about this was I didn't get a burn despite being in the sun for nearly 6 hours everyday for 4 days; I did applied 15SPF to my chest just in case. I did not use this on my face, I know it would break me out and I still like to protect my face with 50SPF. The color was amazing. I can honestly say this is the best tanning lotion hands down and I love that the product is more on the natural side.

Very good tanning lotion,but must shake really well before using to get the lotion to mix in the bottle.

I may just be as tan as I can possibly get at this point which is not much but that might just be my skin type. So why did I take 2 stars off? This has an odor to it. It's not a terrible odor but it's one that I felt that I smelled before, then it hit me. It smells like a porto potty. If you've ever been in a modern day porto potty, there is a blue perfume/chemical that they use to eliminate the smell of the waste. That's not a terrible smell for a few minutes but it's not something I want to be reminded of every time I use this. It's not a terrible smell but I've smelled it long enough that it gave me a headache.

Love love love. Great stuff. I usually spray on some banana boat or Hawaiian tropic oil first and then add this on top of it. It goes a long way so you don’t have to use a lot so it lasts. I’m about three shades darker within two weeks.
