Good food! Tiny gripes.
I'm really impressed with this food. A little goes a long way, my Budgie and Bourke love it, the ingredients impress me, and for the price and how long it will last, (it's virtually no waste)I feel like it's a good deal. Here are my *two* complaints, that I haven't docked a star for, because I feel they're smell enough. Gripe 1: I don't like how the food claims it's a complete food that you don't need to supplement with anything. This heavily effects my opinion of a parrot food brand. ALL parrots need to have the mental stimulation and vitamin content of fresh veggies and/or fruits. I'm the kind of person that would never just take a parrot food's word on something like that, but not everyone is. No good can come of discouraging owners to supplement with other foods. Plus I am team budgies-and-grass-parrakeets-NEED-some-high-quality-whole-seed-in-their-diet, but that's another conversation. Obviously this gripe doesn't relate to the quality of the food, just my own personal knowledge and beliefs on parrot diet. Gripe 2: It smells, to me, like fruity vomit. I hate the smell. Thankfully it's not strong enough to bother me except when I'm actively sniffing it to confirm that, yes, still smells that way, but ymmv. Overall it's a good food that I feel good about feeding my birds. I'd recommend it.

Hang 10 from budgie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The QUALITY is amazing, smells fresh, budgies love the taste. One of the more healthy n nutritious diets for birds. 2 pounds decent size should last me about a month with 4 budgies. I think $20 a month is fine for the perfect pellets. I will be purchasing again!

Birds won't eat
My Rosy Bourke parakeets will not eat it. Tried mixing just a bit with regular seed but not working. Why is it so powdery? Is that normal?

Birds seem to like it
I custom mix several pellet brands together (this makes it easy in case any one becomes difficult to find) and decided to try adding this to the mix - smells slightly like overripe fruit but my birds seem to really like it. Will definitely keep it in the mix.

Parakeets will eat it
The parakeets would not eat other pellets. They will eat this food if you follow the instructions and mix with seeds or whatever their previous food is for the first few weeks. The color looks good, it smells fresh, fruity, and maybe a bit toasty. The parakeets look as good as ever and seem to enjoy the food as much as or more than seeds. It is a bit more expensive than other pellets but I consider it worth it considering they would not touch the other pellets despite mixing.

Good
I haven’t fed it to my bird yet but so far it seems promising. I’m gonna use it as a supplement in a way and put it in the chopped fruits and veggies but then buy a different(bigger) pellet for the dispenser. I’ll update once I feed it to my bird And see any major changes.

Very bad smell
Buyer beware . . . this is not returnable . . . I have purchased other brands of pellets. When I opened the package, it had a VERY strong, unpleasant smell. I did not feel comfortable giving this to my bird. I even poured some out in a dish and the smell was still there after a few days. Either not fresh or attributable to the ingredients?
