Highly recommended!
Anderson Powerpole connectors are simply the best when it comes to reliable and versatile power connections! These connectors are incredibly well-designed, providing a secure and stable connection every time. The modular design is genius, allowing for easy customization and quick assembly without the need for specialized tools. They are perfect for ham radio setups to RC hobbies and even solar power systems. The durability is outstanding—they can handle repeated connections without any degradation in performance. I also appreciate how they’re color-coded, making it easy to avoid mistakes. If you need a dependable and easy-to-use connector, Anderson Powerpole connectors are the way to go. Highly recommended!

They go together well, and make connections quicker
Should have the tool to make a neat job of it, much easier to connect the wires.

Very interesting critters
I received my order today. My first impression was "jeez, these things are 'kinda small' for 30A use!"Because the contacts are "barrel" type, make sure you have a PROPER crimper! NOTE: the maximum usable wire size is 10 gauge (thus, the "30 Amp" rating).Assembly notes:1) depending on the wire used, you may have to "shave down" the insulation (1/2" behind the strip line) so it'll easily enter the rear of the connector.2) the contact is a "one-way" insertion! do not try to insert it "upside down".3) when inserting the contact, push hard enough until you hear/feel a "click" - this indicates the connector is fully locked!4) DO NOT allow wire strands to protrude past the "wire stop" on the contact! this will prevent the contact from locking.5) DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR WIRE "POLARITY" BEFORE INSTALLING A CONTACT! if you use the "wrong color" body (i.e., black when you wanted red), it's a REAL BITCH to remove the contact and you may need to cut it off and apply a new contact.Anyhoo, they do seem to Do The Purpose for which they're designed.

The only choice that will fit if you want to connect these into existing genuine andersons.
The real deal. The only choice that will fit if you want to connect these into existing genuine andersons. The non-genuine products do not work.

Real Genuine Andersons, great customer support
These are the real deal! I got the wrong powerpole connecters from another seller and they were a cheap Chinese knockoff, and I left a review on this product by mistake but the seller ACER Racing contacted me immediately and explained that they are the only place to get the authentic Andersons made in the USA. Make sure you get the real ones with fire-resistant plastic and silver contacts. Don't get them from anywhere else! These are the best connectors for attaching powered devices, I definitely recommend getting the special crimpers designed for Anderson power poles for the job.One more shoutout to ACER for their excellent prompt customer service!

Best connector when you frequently connect/disconnet electronics.
I've used these for many different applications where I move electronics between different power sources, or need to remove a component (like a battery pack). You can't beat Powerpoles for standing up to hundreds of connect/disconnect cycles. When connected, they stay connected under most conditions.. UNLESS the cables are going to move around significantly. Provided you are connecting multiple powerpole connectors linked at least as a pair, you can use a ZIP TIE to loop across the two sets of connectors to ensure they do not pull apart. The internal metal connector is spring loaded so when you connect two together, they always press against each other. The connectors also appear to be silver plated for excellent conductivity. The connector its self is not the limiting factor to the amount of current they carry.. it is the size of the wire you attach. I believe the "30 Amp" connector, which supports a 10 gauge wire, will actually carry over 3x that current (if you could attach a large enough wire to the connector). The benefit having connections with super low resistance, is the connectors never heat up (even when pushed).
