How are you supposed to light the matches when the strips on the box wear out?

The strips do wear out quickly on these boxes. You can use the strip on another box or a matchbook, if you have one. Given the way these matches don't light, and the heads sometimes fly off when they are struck, I would suggest that you just don't use them. I've had a fire danger because of them.

What are the dimensions of the match box? I have a holder it needs to fit in.
