If I were to use this to cover my entire yard would it prevent zombies from unearthing on my property? I’m hoping it would force them to my neighbors.

I can assure you that it works 100% for stopping Zombies. I covered my entire driveway with this product and infilled with gravel. The last time I checked there were no Zombies at all on my drive, and I made absolutely sure by counting them twice.

Do you need to line the ground with gravel or anything before putting down the pavers?

A base of gravel will help but what’s more important is a layer of gravel on top to hold the pavers in place .

I was wondering how this can be used as a retaining wall / water run off from a new asphalt driveway. on side has a slope and is muddy all the time.

I think it would work of you put pea gravel to fill up the spaces. I used my grids with sod from my dog running back n forth along our fence line, which became a muddy trench when it rained..so far so good but granted, the grass is dormant now and the dog hasn't been out as much since its winter..
