This is a huge sugar bomb! Is there an alternative that's somewhat diabetic friendlier?

My physician says that this is likely an unnecessary product for most people. He is suspicious of the sugar content and the "fish oil" which may have no immediate medical value at all. Fish oil has been a big scam for a few years now, it is usually promoted as a cholesterol-reducing agent but there are now studies which medicate that some sources of fish oil may actually increase your cholesterol. What is the source of the fish oil in this product? Most persons do not need an omega-3 supplement at all, according to knowledgeable consumer groups.
