Do you need to use fabric softener as well

The Lab Co sheets have a very subtle smell which I really like. If you prefer a stronger smell on your clothes, use your usual conditioner. I guess it also depends on the water hardness. Here in Scotland the water is soft so I usually don’t use fabric conditioner.

No, actually the answer from Rutland girl is incorrect. Contains 64 strips, which is a half sheet, so 32 full sheets in a box

Can this be used to wash woollens?

I’ve used it for everything I wash, including woollens. Haven’t had any problems as a result.

No clue - maybe an ingredient might cause irritation if you rub your eye after handling! Very unlikely though Ingredients Glycerol: plant-derived from coconut oil. Light Mineral Oil: Used in manufacturing as a processing aid (not an active product ingredient).
