This waterproof junction box is the HMS Victory of electrical enclosures, ready to sail through any storm with the grace of Admiral Nelson himself.As someone more skilled at brewing tea than handling tools, I found installing this box to be easier than avoiding eye contact on the Tube. It’s so watertight, I’m convinced it could survive a dip in the North Sea. I tested it in the rain (because, let’s be real, that’s a typical British weekend), and it remained drier than the Queen’s humor.The build quality is top-notch. It’s sturdier than a cricket bat and just as satisfying to handle. I’m pretty sure it could withstand a monsoon, a flood, and maybe even the aftermath of a particularly rowdy pub quiz.In short, this junction box is the answer to all your waterproofing prayers. Overall this 𝐈𝐏𝟔𝟖 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐱 seems well built and the seals appear adequate for the purpose I required it for.However, as this is a product that requires substantial use prior to writing a review to provide a valid assessment of the the feature we all would have purchased it for, i.e. Endurance; it's impossible to say much regarding that and as such, the following should be taken with consideration of this:In the week I've had it, there are no signs of possible water ingress or any signs of seal failure. Whether this will remain the case 6 months down the line, who knows.That being said, as a result of an old technique I was taught, which has now become habbit; I also applied some silicone sealant around the ends of my wire cables before sliding up the yellow waterproof rubber rings and screwing on the black plastic jackets. Did I need to do this... probably not, but it wasn't going to be detrimental either as the box will hopefully never need to be removed within at least my lifetime.

A nice little cable connection box that is waterproof (and also meant to be suitable for full immersion) & simple, if a bit fiddly for larger hands. I would recommend this product as it is very reasonable priced & suitable to be fixed on place via external lugs. As usual, the screws that fix the lid down (4 No, one in each corner) could be better quality but easily swapped out if necessary.

Good little unit, comes with a few different seals, for the inlets, solid build, I feel I can rely on this to handle all weathers, recommended.
