it is all in one the unit is a bypass and remote start on most cars go to website check your car

Can i interface with an ultrastart 1280

not sure... it will make installation easier if it can talk to each other by data.. but even if it doesn't you can install it manually by running the tach,lock,ign and other wires needed by the ultra start.... sometimes the ultra start sell it own brand of ign bypass... you might want to call them

Are wires (connections) available with the device?

It comes with the harnesses that you need. No T harness. But, for example, if you're connecting it to a Viper alarm, it does come with a datalink to D2D cable that plugs into the viper alarm's D2D port. You will need a FlashLink Update module to program this.
