Bubba Radiant Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Push-Button Chug Lid 32oz., Cobalt Rubberized

I had to re-review this product. I bought it about 3-4 years ago to take with me down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. It did great! Kept my water cool and didn't leak despite the heat. Tolerated a lot of banging against other equipment and rocks. Good size. The 40 oz worked great but was too big to carry hiking and this one was a much better size.Since then, I have used is almost every day. In the summer, cold tea or flavored water and in the winter, hot tea. I have dropped it a number of times (or it fell out of my backpack pocket). It has a few dents on the bottom, and a little paint is peeling but not bad. I have broken the top 3 times due to falls. The early lid design with a spring release spout fractured just when it fell over on the counter. But the newer lid with screw top spout and the availability of replacement lids has not required me to replace the whole unit like I had to do 4-5 years ago. Highly recommended. Only negative, is that I have some tea drips down the side that I cannot seem to get off, but I have not been aggressive, either. Maybe, I should try some Bar Tenders' Friend and see if I can get that off.This is my 3rd one. With the first 2, once the lid failed, I had to purchase new but the aluminum container portion seemed bullet proof and fully intact. With the last one, I can buy the replacement lids which had been the primary victim after a fall. None have leaked.

I used this for a couple of weeks before reviewing this, and I'm really happy with it. I didn't want the type of insulated cup with the narrow bottom for car cup holders, because I'm clumsy. This one is much more stable. The narrow top also makes it much easier for me to pick up, making a handle unnecessary.I filled it with a tray of ice and tea yesterday, and it still has little pieces of ice in it, so it's definitely well insulated. I don't know about hot drinks, but it's perfect for cold ones. Very good deal.

Fabulous bottle! Love the secure clip that prevents the bottle from accidentally opening when the bottle is in my bag. Absolutely no leaking and keeps the water cool for roughly 6 hours. Bottle nicely built for durability, from the handles and cover flaps - while made from plastic are quite sturdy. Definite value for money and fits comfortably in my gym bag and cup holders.

Meets ALL my requirements for water bottles:1. Wide enough lid to put ice in it. 2. Fits in the car cupholder. 3. Has a handle. 4. No straws nor gadgets that get gunky & hard to clean. 5. Lid pops open at the push of a button so I can open it with one hand, yet 6. has a no-spill lock so it doesn't accidentally open.

I have the exact same water bottle in a different shade that I purchased about a year ago…it’s awesome-keeps ice for >24hrs, easy to fill and doesn’t sweat. So I decided I love that one so much that I’d get a spare in a different color…. This one though sweats on surfaces and the ice is melted in half the time as my older one! What’s going on?! Did they change the bottle or insulation?? Disappointed; rarely use compared to my older one.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been a Bubba fan for YEARS and was delighted to see a stainless option when I went to replace an old plastic mug that broke after dropping it. When these went on sale, I bought a dozen for gift giving and created a whole new generation of fans (much cheaper than Y**i's and just as good!)Drinkability:If filled with ice before adding liquids, there will still be ice in it by days end (sometimes the next morning; however, the contents remain cold).Value for money:Compared to Y**i's - the quality is the same but much cheaper!Stainless steel:LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these! Keeps everything cold without absorbing different flavored beverages (so I can use it for coffee 1 day and juice or water the next without a hint of flavor absorption).Works well:Love the new "soft" rubberized paint option; however, the light colored ones will stain easily - so go for BLACK or stainless if that is a concern.
