Foaming Cream Cleanser

One of those facial cleansers that I feel safe recommending to all skin types. It cleans thoroughly enough and gently that I believe this would be quite good for those with oily and problematic skin. Yet it does not strip the oils so deeply that it dries out the skin. It does seem to moisturize the skin a little bit, but not a lot. You'll need your moisturizers for that. With that said, it's also very good for those with dry skin. Cleans away all of those dead skin cells and other debris while leaving your skin nice and soft. Rinses away easily. You can tell that this is a quality product while using. Not heavy on the lather even though you can feel it easily spreads around the skin. You only need a small pea size to wash your entire face. Seems as though this would be very good for those with sensitive skin. It's very gentle and soothing. There is a mild scent that I find to be pleasant. Only mild and probably wouldn't bother most users.

This is not the same formula, or it's gone bad. I received a sample of this in a Nordstrom purchase and decided to buy it through Amazon. Not a good idea. Smelled horrible, didn't foam like the sample, very greasy. Buy elsewhere.

This is a facial cleanser. In my warm bathroom, it is very thin in consistency and it is super easy to press out too much. You need very little for a face full of lather. This has a biting fragrance, a bit citrus. It is good for my dry sensitive skin. Rinses easily. I like it, the tube makes it easy to waste more than you need.

In other reviews of foaming facial cleansers, i have mentioned frequently, that my holy grail foaming cleanser was discontinued some years ago. Why do they do that? So of course, I have been attempting to find a replacement ever since, with limited success. None of the products I’ve tried have ever truly duplicated the creamy foam that Shiseido Benifiance Extra Creamy Cleansing Foam produced. It was amazing, worth every penny, and went a long way, because you barely needed any to produce the amazing foam. This Eve Lom Foaming Cream Cleanser has come the closest yet, to reproducing my euphoric joy at my lost Shiseido love. The texture is different upon squeezing from the tube - Shiseido was quite thick and creamy, and this is not as thick, but it does produce a wonderfully dense, and delicious lather, that makes my face feel super clean and rejuvenated. I don’t wear a lot of make up these days, but there’s nothing can compare to the feeling of a freshly cleansed face with a foaming cleanser in my opinion. It just feels dewy and soft, and ready for the next round of product to be applied. I’m sold. This might be my next holy grail. Am I done exploring the world of foaming cleansers? Who knows? I’m a fickle creature. Though I was brand loyal to Shiseido, it was THAT good.

This arrives in a fully shrink-wrapped box. Open that, then the box, and pop out this tube. Untwist the cap and pull off the silver safety seal. While you are flipping the cap open, think about how many layers of care there are here. Talk about a clean product! Now, put a little in your hands with a little water ... rub vigorously and you will make a really rich lather. This really lifts residual make-up and dirt. And it rinses easier and quicker than many other cleansers. I am really fond of how effective and quick this is. Love it! This has a very light scent and a little goes a long way! A really nice foaming cleanser! Very highly recommended!
