This works well with Action 5 Pro
Initial unit from another supplier was returned as it was faulty. This unit works as it should. With the Osmo Action 5 Pro the record start/stop isn’t compatible (which I knew ahead of ordering) so the unit provides gimbal functionality only. However this is perfect.

Great bit of kit. Shame no hard carry case.
This is an excellent piece of equipment at this price point. Very good battery life and the stabilisation is also excellent. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the fact it just comes with a velvet bag to store and carry it. Some form of case would Definately have got the product 5 stars. The competitors provide hard cases for gimbles. It’s a shame Inkee cheaper out on this one thing.Otherwise though an excellent gimble that feels quality and produces quality footage.

Does not do what it says - cannot hold a light and a Mic.
Description and manual said you can adjust the mount so there is a gap for your Mic if using the side hot shot - Totally untrue. - the gap as way too small. So when you mount the Mic/Receiver on the top hot shoe (I have a Ryms DW20, just like a Rode) - it is too heavy, and the goPro doesn't balance. So overall, this is really a piece of junk.

Extension rod stuck
- It’s good idea to have extension rod with a lock, so it wouldn’t fold when you shooting your video. BUT after several uses the rod has stuck in the extended state. I cannot unlock it anymore to put into a bag.- You could make rather a hard case for such a sensitive equipment than a soft bag- with the extension rod opened you can not reach buttons- I would want rather two buttons for modes switching there and back. Sometime I want to switch from the mode 1 (everything fixed) to mode 2 (horizon unfixed) and back. For example I want to show a building top and then continue walking with a fixed horizon again. But I can ONLY return to the mode 1 via mode 3, which unfixes everything and ruins my video. Technically if you want to switch modes you need to interrupt shouting which makes modes useless.+ stabilisation itself is absolutely great, videos are smooth, no shaking, no tilted views etc.

Works with DJI Action 3/4
Turns your Action3/4 into a chunky, yet more versatile Pocket 3. I modded a Quickmount by drilling the same size holes for the DJI thumbscrew, it's not required, but it lowers the centre of gravity and makes it look neater. The gimbal lets you get some really creative shots, from the ground all the way up to about 4 foot higher than your arm can reach using the supplied screw mount extension/selfie pole - I'm still experimenting with Rocksteady turned off and so far it looks great and means I can do more lower light filming and play around with ND filters.I tried the Hohem 4, but the mount hides and restricts any access to the rear screen, you had to remove the Action 3 from the mount just to change a setting and you could only mount the camera on its own, no protective case. That things is built specifically for a GoPro + Media Mod and the little DJI looked lost mounted to it and is a bit too big and clunky overall for the DJI ,plus you loose the benefit of the Quickmount release system.Only 4 stars, mainly because it only comes with a really, really, really cheap bag and its obviously a delicate bit of engineering and needs a better storage/transport case. Also because DJI won't release the remote codes, means some of the functionality isn't available to non GoPro users - but that's DJI wanting to push users to buy a Pocket 3 as well as an Action camera, but this gimbal gives you access to both worlds.Take it off this gimbal and stick it on my cycle helmet, then bump down the side of a hill in the rain. You can't do that with a Pocket 3...Hope this helps someone make a better choice.

Eventually, brilliant Gimbal
The first one they sent me had issues,. I'm always susspect when this happens. The gimbal kept going into limp mode, it worked for a minute or 2 then went limp. Im good with tech and summarised the battery wasn't holding a charge. Sent that one back and second time I have a good one.Of the two currently on the market that are worth looking at, the Inkey is the best in my opinion. When you pair the gimbal to the GoPro, you can use the controls on the gimbal to power on and record start/stop power off , ALL from the gimbal making it much easier to use.Power button could fall into a better location being obscured by the gimbals leg but you soon realise this is a small thing really. Overall for whats on the market at the moment (01/09/23) this is the overall best choice
