Works well - needs Windows or Mac, not Linux or Ubuntu
Worked well - note I think you need Windows or Mac to pair. I has a kb400 kb-400 keyboard and it did not pair automatically. you need to download software Logitech Unifying Software or LogiOptions+ from Logitech to pair it to your device. Simple to setup. Pairing and setup does not work on Ubuntu/Linux.

Works great with K400+ keyboard, but...
Lost my keyboard receiver when I left it on a remote computer. Ordered this replacement after confirming on the Logitech website that it would work with my K400+ keyboard and trackpad. Received dongle and plugged-in. It did not work right out of the box. I read the very tiny info sheets that came with the receiver to no avail. Finally Googled and went to the Logitech website. For a Mac computer, you can program the receiver via software that you can download. I really wish Logitech had better instructions with the receiver and on their website. But, in the end works great - even at 1/2 the cost of a new keyboard, lol.

Does Not Work and Can't Be Returned (Buyer Beware!)
I wanted to share my experience with this receiver in hopes that it helps others make an informed decision. Unfortunately, the product did not work for me at all. While I was able to pair both my mouse and keyboard, the mouse could barely move four inches away from the adapter before losing connection. The limited range made it virtually unusable. Discovered only after the fact that it is a non-refundable item—definitely my oversight, and ultimately my loss. I want to caution others considering this purchase: please be absolutely sure this will work with your equipment and even then be ok with investing money into something that may or may not work, since returns are not allowed. At least it was only $15, so the lesson wasn’t too costly, but I am now stuck with a useless dongle. The lack of a return option and the poor service is extremely disappointing. Proceed with caution. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t want anyone else to waste their money or time on a product that may not meet their needs and cannot be returned.

Make sure you are needing a star Unifying receiver before purchase. NO RETURNS offered.
1. Please make sure you are 100% sure that this is the correct USB receiver before purchase. 2. The packaging is from Logitech but not manufactured for the US market and all is in Chinese, not English. 3. NO RETURNS are allowed for this product. Otherwise, works well with products it is designed for. Note: I ordered this Unifying USB receiver for a K270 Keyboard. If your keyboard has the Unifying star on it, this should work. If your keyboard does not, it may be a part of a COMBO keyboard and mouse option sold by Logitech. Even though you may see the K270 on the website stating Unifying, it is NOT if it was a combo purchased product. The COMBO uses a non-Unifying USB receiver C-U0010 I hope this helps you to decide correctly if you are replacing a K270 keyboard receiver.

Does the job of the original one included with my Logitech Keyboard.
I somehow misplaced the USB dongle for my Logitech K350 keyboard. Funny because I put a note on the original box which aparently reminds me of where the original actually is, but I can't read my own writing! This replacement worked fine and it will also accept certain models of their wireless mice. Carrying the Unifying certification, I would think it would work with all their USB input products, as well as those of other manufacturer's. It's not mentioned in the instructions but I would be interested in knowing. BTW a warning. Windows 10 update has affected some systems; the keyboards have slow response. You litterally have to hold a key down for some 3-5 seconds before you get a response. I spent time researching this and apparently the most likely cause has to do with the EASE OF ACCESS section of your Control Panel. If you don't use the fully itemized version of Control Panel, select Control Panel and then from the old, normal control panel screen, go up to the file name and click the right arrow or down arrow that follows "Control Panel." If there is no arrow next to the name, just click on the name Control Panel at top and one will appear. Then select All Control Panel Items. You will now see a list of some 25 individual items rather than the old screen which has about six main categories. Now select Ease of Access, then "Make Keyboard Easier to Use." You will find a category regarding Filter Keys. It will read Turn On Filter Keys. If it is checked as being ON, uncheck the box. You don't want the filter keys on because that is the usual problem of having the slow response from the keyboard. Oh, one warning. Hit Apply. I forgot to and wasted another half hour trying to find a solution in the Registry which didn't work. I went back to Ease of Access and found the filters still being checked as ON. After trying three wired keyboards and one wireless without success, this was quite a good feeling!! If this isn't your problem, and you've already replugged in your USB cable, you are probably going to end up in the registry which is a place of last resort. I have no idea how the filter key got turned on but there is a suggestion that it may have to do with a Windows update. This seems to go back to Windows 7, but I have had Windows 10 for more than a year.

Working fine. It did not come in Logitech packing so that seems to be a drawback although it seems to be a genuine product. Had to download a software from logitech website and it immediately recognized my wireless keyboard. Essentially i had to buy this because i seem to have misplaced the wireless receiver for my KBD. Since it support up to 6 devices it might be helpful in avoiding a clutter with other logitech wireless devices I may use.

works as expected
compatible with Logitech devices that use the Unifying receiver - my MX Master keyboard and MX 2 mouse. NOT the newer Bolt devices. Lets me use my mouse and keyboard on two devices.
