M-1003 Freedom Elite Scuba Diving Mask

It perfectly seals to my face with a snorkel in my mouth. My head is 7 1/8 hat size, and I have a diamond face. I used toothpaste on the inside glass with a soft toothbrush, and then I used a mini torch. There was no film left to burn, so it’s good to go. I’m looking forward to a fog-free experience with this. Also, very easy to equalize low bridge nose. Thanks, TUSA! For making an awesome product. It’s made in Taiwan, but the quality seems very good.

This is my 2nd pair of Tusa’s and I absolutely love them. They’re comfortable for long or short dives; no problems with fit and they allow for great visibility with no fogging mid dive. #ForeverFan #Live2Dive

I like this diving mask. It works very well. I’m Asian. I have problems with other masks because my nose isn’t very high. It’s hard to reach my nose in most marks. This one works well. It does look small when I first unboxed it, almost like a child size. But magically, it fits my face well and there is no blockage of vision. Btw, I have a normal size face, just a comparatively flat nose. Anyway, I recommend this mask for Asian build.

Fits really well, I love the super soft surround, always stay dry. I had a freedom series mask with clear surround but found it to have reflections on the inside, especially near the surface. The black surround fixes that, I save the clear one for night dives. Update: Reduced review to 4 stars. After a few dozen dives I've started to have issues with the strap attachment points coming off the mask. They are held on by two very small plastic nubs tensioned between small clips, and they don't hold if the strap gets pulled hard. Once they get pulled out one time, the plastic nubs get worn a bit and it starts happening much easier. I now have to be very careful stretching the strap over my head, and can't wear the mask on the back of my head as the strap is slightly tighter and the clips tend to pop out. Once it's in place it still works great and is my favorite mask.

I liked this mask a lot. Unfortunately, it fogged up a lot as well despite using defoggers. Some have suggested 'burning in' the mask prior to usage. This was one step I did not do as my other masks did not require such to be fog free. Mask is very well made. A bit heavy due to the metal piece. It also comes in a nice, compact plastic box. Other than the fogging issue (which might have an easy solution), the mask is a keeper.

Bien pour les grands visages, jupe tolérante pour quelques poils de moustaches courts en regard des fuites. Mieux à ce sujet qu’un Hollis M1 pour ma part, mais plus gros, et un chouya moins de visibilité dû à la plus grande profondeur du masque donc plus de volume d’air également

In 25 anni di attività subacquee non ho mai provato una maschera simile. Ottima per il mio faccione. È una delle poche maschere che si adattano bene alle teste grandi o grandi volti. Vetro ottimamente temperato per l.appannamento e silicone morbidissimo. Visione extra large anche in basso. Mi sento di consigliare questa maschera. Ne ho comprate altre due oltre la mia, una x la mia compagna e una x un amico. Sono entusiasti.

Ich habe letztes Jahr mit dem Tauchen angefangen und musste leider schnell feststellen, dass meine erste eigene Maske nicht optimal war. Nachdem sie defekt war, durfte ich die Maske meines Tauchlehrers ausprobieren – eine Tusa Freedom Elite – und war von Anfang an begeistert und habe sie mir direkt selbst gekauft. Das Sichtfeld ist einfach riesig! Ich habe selten so viel von der Unterwasserwelt gesehen wie mit dieser Maske. Gerade als Anfänger gibt einem das enorm viel Sicherheit und macht das Erlebnis noch beeindruckender. Die Makse liegt sehr angenehm auf der Haut, das Silikon ist extrem weich und anschmiegsam, ohne Druckstellen zu hinterlassen. Zudem ist sie absolut wasserdicht – kein ständiges Ausblasen, kein nerviges Eindringen von Wasser. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt: Die Maske kommt in einer tollen, stabilen Schutzhülle. Das ist super praktisch für Reisen – gerade im Koffer bleibt sie optimal geschützt und verkratzt nicht. Zum Thema Beschlagen: Natürlich beschlägt auch diese Maske wie jede andere – das ist ganz normal. Mit etwas Antifog ist das aber überhaupt kein Problem und schnell gelöst. Ich liebe diese Maske und würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung – sowohl für Anfänger als auch für erfahrene Taucher!
