Says professional but it's a good tabla for students. Paid extra for expedited delivery and it did arrive fast. Dayan is good but Bayan is low quality and very light in weight. I like the accessories it came with. If you want a professional quality tabla would have to pay the extra I guess.

I haven't played any tablas before now, and don't have a more expensive set to compare these to. But these feel really quality and are priced affordably compared to others.

Nice sound and craftsmanship

There is not much to dislike so far. These are good pair of tablas, workmanship is 7/10 (10/10 is for custom made pairs), for the price there are good bit of accessories sent.Sound: Bayan could use a bit more base and could use few more dowels to be inserted in the leather strings. The seller delivered 3 in my case. I made some makeshift dowels for better base and octave.Tabla once tuned sounds very nice and natural, good timber and smooth sound.Overall I will recommend this product for any tabla lover who wants reasonably priced items.
