Introductions:The nRF24L01 is a 2.4GHz ISM band transceiver. The transceiver consists of a fully integrated frequency synthesizer, a power amplifier, a crystal oscillator, a demodulator, modulator and enhanced ShockBurst, protocol engine.A host microcontroller can communicate and configure the nRF24L01+ over a 4-pin Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The configuration registers are accessible through the SPI connection.Configurable parameters include frequency channel (125 selectable channels), output power, and data rate (data rates: 250kbps, 1Mbps, and 2Mbps).The module comes with a voltage regulator adaptor which allows for direct connection to the higher voltage board, like Arduino.Internal filtering results in high margins of meeting RF regulatory standards. The module's radio uses Gaussian Frequency-Shift Keying (GFSK) modulation as well as fast Automatic Gain Control (AGC)Features:Ultra small: 15x29mm (including:built-in 2.4GHz antenna),for easy implementation into designs without additional hardware.Base Breakout module with voltage regulator and bypass capacitors for stability.Low power consumption: Ultra low power consumption as low as 11.3mA transmitting, 13.5mA receiving at 2Mbps, 900nA in power down, and 26uA in standby.Communication range: 262 feet (80 meters) in ideal conditions.Fast data transfer rate: 2Mbps (software setting range: 1Mbps or 2Mbps)Multi frequency points:125 frequency points to meet the needs of multi point communication and frequency hopping communication.Package Includes:4 Pcs NRF24L01+ Wireless Module.4 Pcs Voltage Regulating Breakout Adapter.

Works well - Needs clean power!
I have now purchased 16 of these total for a home automation project. I have had great success with them. The range is surprisingly good. My home is 75 feet long and I have no range issues. I've found intermittent or no functionality if a poor quality power supply is used (dirty power cripples them). Using a name brand USB power adapter (ones that came with my cell phone) gives good clean power and they work very reliably. Other 9 or 12 volt adapters I have laying around have been hit or miss. Very inexpensive USB adapters that I bought in bulk from Amazon didn't work at all. I just purchased a Belkin brand adapter from Amazon hopefully it will work okay for reliable communications between Adrunios. I need lots of them so have to find something inexpensive. These transceiver modules can do 128 different 2.4 GHz channels. I found libraries and code that works well online. I have several that are powered on 24/7. None have died.

All Four Have Worked Perfectly
All of these nRF24L01 modules, and the voltage regulators that came with them have worked perfectly.I've used them to build a small wireless remote control that incorporates a simple 3x4 matrix keypad and an Arduino Pro Mini for a remote control in a small package. All of these Arduino RF TX/RX devices (all models, all manufacturers) are rather fussy to get running, but I'm using a library called NRFLite, which is less complex than most, but still sufficiently robust for my simple remote.

3 out of 4 isn't bad
I used an Arduino nano to control this module and was able to successfully complete some basic experiments with them. Over all, it was a good product especially because it seamlessly connects with Arduino microcontrollers, which allows you to do so much with these little transceivers. On that note, there are a plethora of libraries(pre written code) for these modules which can be found by googling "NRF24L01". My only issue was that one of my transceiver modules did not work, though all four of the voltage regulators worked just fine. For an add on item that was relatively cheap, I'd say this is acceptable and I would purchase again.

If you're building an escape room, take a look at these
I got these because I am working on an escape room, and needed some remote triggering of puzzles. The price and ship time were unbeatable. They work like a charm.Pro tips:1. You can't test two units unless the arduinos are connected to two different PCs.2. The breakout adapters do not work with an UNO (and I suspect the Mega). Try wiring the module directly to the MCU if it appears that the module isn't working.

Works Great!
These are great combo together. Packaging was okay and the products came in perfect working condition so far. I would definitely recommend them and I'm probably going to order another set myself

They work great. No issues.
These things are great. Why are they no longer abailable?
