Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Number Turtles

Cute way to learn colors, shapes and numbers! The little baby turtles are adorable. Kids love them!

I honestly love this toy set. I bought it to add to my therapy kit, and the children have really taken to it. We work on so many concepts with them, Big and Small, numbers, coloring matching, Momma and Baby/ Daddy and baby. Prepositions, action words and so on. I’ve even used them with painters tape to tape them into a train. Soo much fun and not only that so sturdy. The younger side children tend to be rough with toys— throwing them and banging them on the table and they are holding up pretty well.

Count with this toy learn colors, shapes and work on fine motor skills putting the turtles back together.

My son loves these turtles. We call them babies and mommas. We started with babies and mommas lined up to match the same colors. When he mastered that, we switched the babies around into different mommas to have him take them out and put them with the correct mamas. We counted just mommas, just babies, all together. Then we would hide a few to find which turtles were missing. You can use them creatively and increase the difficulty as the child masters each skill. Plus they are super cute and the babies fit under each shell easily. The shells also have patterns on them for shape work. Only slight drawback is that the shells sometimes come off easily. Obviously for little hands to get them off. I even appreciate the bucket with spin top for storage.

Color, fun and teaches wonderful stacking skills. My only complaint is that they do not stay together well once the child puts the baby turtle into the momma turtle. They really need to snap together better as the baby gets frustrated putting it back together (or having me do it ). But I wll say, my 18 mos old grandbaby now says "turtle". And the twins love the bucket container with a handle. And I love that it twists and stays on.

I run an in home daycare and my kids love these cute little turtles. I definitely recommend for fine motor, counting, colours and shapes.
