Has been awhile….but it was fantastic! Love the movie! Came quickly and in perfect shape!

This is a monster movie with rich beautiful cinematography, and visually stunning vibrant colors. All acting is spot on and very good. Matt Damon carried this movie very well and delivered an over the top performance. All movie props, make-up, sets, period wardrobe/costumes are vibrant and colorful and well detailed. An epic story, which explains the (who, what, where, why and when), answering (all) questions and ending appropriately, demonstrating stunning vibrant visuals effects similar to (Avatar), with high-end resolution quality (CG) effects!My personal thoughts about this movie: The Great Wall is (not) a documentary, it’s a full on movie of and epic battle to the death for earth dominance, your classic Mankind (vs) Alien Queen. The movie is visually stunning, with acrobatics that would rival any Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas. A fast moving movie with tons of action and hardcore battles that are very brutal and bloody, with bone crushing carnage everywhere. This movie has excellent character development, with (no) unnecessary sex scenes at all. The producers knew how to direct a great movie for the entire family without the need to show any embarrassing sex scenes...great job, all parents will appreciate that! I make comparisons to the movie (Avatar) due to the epic nature of this movie and the classic theme of (Man vs Alien species) over dominance of the planet. This movie is a winner, great movie for the entire family, its money well spent, I will definitely watch this movie more than once…they got this movie right!The Facts:1. So I'm rewriting this review because I apparently pointed out the obvious fact that a key member of the movie should I say is not spectacular. I can't say the word i∆√¥ because it apparently hurts somebody's feelings but the movie is actually not bad perhaps watch team America the movie before seeing this movie. Then you'll get a joke out of it!

Action , Adventure , Beautiful Photography , Fantastic cast , this is Ancient China like you've never seen it before . Being chased across the dessert by bandits , 5 men camp for the night only having to fight off a beast that kills 3 of the 5 men , the two remaining still men being chased come to a dead end , "THE GREAT WALL" this is where all there problems start ! The Chinese having a secret they can't let out , holding these 2 men captive they find out they can never leave The Great Wall unable to leave the men find out they are in the middle of an attack , with no where to turn they learn little by little and piece by piece what the attack is all about and what lies on the other side of "The Great Wall" , there's something out there killing what ever it runs across and they turn to help the Chinese fight it ! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS I'VE SEEN IN A WHILE ! IT'S A FANTASTIC MOVIE AND YOU SHOULDN'T MISS IT , YOU WON'T REGRET BUYING THIS !!! 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟's

Good combination of a monster movie in ancient times with a lot of action and good effects. Recommended.

Did you know that the original name for " The Great Wall of China" was " The Ramparts of Magog"? Knowing this I was kind of hoping they would be fighting giants & other nasty Nephalem. Oh well it's still pretty good fun ! The use of color in this movie is genius, I have seen it done by foreign directors but it hasn't been done by mainstream Hollywood since the epic's of the 50's & 60's! If you are a fan of Sword & Sorcery this will make a great addition to your collection! This is a great fantasy escapist film for rainy days or movie night. While I don't know if its suited for young children if your kids are 12 or older its a good movie for the whole family. I love East meets West movies like " The Black Rose" & other than the brilliant use of color the comparison stops there as one was based on Historical events even though it was a fictional story this one is based on Dragon like creatures...but I wasn't there so maybe there is some historical probability in this movie after all. What ever the case it sure is a lot of fun & action packed from beginning to end!!!
