Very comfortable - water proofing holds up
Very comfortable for me, I usually need a boxier toe so I was pleasantly surprised by the way it fit. I've worn these for a few months, put them through mud, thunderstorms, and minor flooding. As long as the water doesn't reach the bend in the lacing (where it would go over the tongue) my feet stayed dry. The waterproof part held up nicely while the fabric still lets them breath. Lightweight for boots which adds to their comfort and they have a reasonably rugged tread for grip. I highly recommend these.

Unbelievable Value and Comfort
I never thought I would ever write a product review, BUT THESE BOOTS ARE INCREDIBLE. I have had these for about four weeks now and have used them in heavy rain, really heavy morning dew walking to the deer stand, just below freezing temps camping this weekend. I've mostly have worn them on warm afternoons that tend to create moisture in boots, and once that happens and the temps fall at night, you got cold and wet feet and these boots perform amazingly well keeping the moisture out. How they are so breathable and also waterproof I have no idea, but the technology is there. I am wearing socks that cost half as much as the boots, so that may help a little with the moisture issues that cause boots to suck, but these XPETI's don't suck at all. I was a little concerned with the mesh outer material of the boots but they also handle the briars and vines at the farm that tend to shred other boots and shoes to pieces.Oh, and by the way..... I have already ordered a second pair of XPETI boots (Thermator Mid-Rise Waterproof Lightweight Hiking Boot) since I was so blown away by the performance of these boots. The new boots are of the same quality and just as comfortable, and at a price point that usually means you are buying junk. Shoes at this price usually cause back issues after a day on my feet, but not these. So impressed!!!! I would gladly accept any samples of new XPETI products for testing and review. HAHA

Durable and very comfortable
I'm a mechanic and I'm on my feet all day long up and down ladders, in water puddles and mud while working on location for my customers. These shoes have been the best to date. Extremely comfortable, durable and waterproof. after wearing them for a month, I went ahead and bought a second pair to put up for when these finally wear out. 5 stars!

Good Grip, very comfortable, but not rugged or built to last - get what you pay for
Have only worn these maybe 10 times - only twice for hiking and each time was about an hour. The boots are very comfortable, the tread is a lot better at gripping rocky surfaces that competitors at 2 or 3 times the price! The toe box is large, but maybe a little too much so for a shoe to be used if climbing steep rocky surfaces as the foot tends to move a bit tooo much. The big complaint is that, though only having been worn maybe 10 times, a fabric strap for the show laces on one of the shoes is starting to detach from the shoe and it is doing so because the shoe surface to which it attaches is fraying. I can still use them for gym days and yard work, but these are not really sturdy enough for a challenging hike up steep rocky surfaces.

Worth the price
For the price, these boots are wonderful. I am a size 11 in most of my shoes/boots and the sizing was quite true to form. They are not as hard on the bottom sole as you would expect (meaning not as hard/stiff as a work boot for a job site might be) but I actually like this. I walked for a couple of miles in them and they were great. No blisters and that is a good thing for me. I typically have trouble getting boots/footwear to fit well. These were great. Not too narrow, not too wide.
