great compass companion with a watch.
The compass works. It points in the right direction and it fits snugly in the strap of my watch and it also glows.

This one works
Of the watchband compasses I have owned, this is the first one that is consistently accurate. The dial rotates smoothly rather than locking up before finding north as others in this price range do. If you want a watchband compass, I recommend this one, HOWEVER; please do NOT expect more of this compass than is reasonable. Watchband compasses are NOT adequate for presice navigation. Their purpose is to orient the user, and they do, but with resolution of 11.25 degrees or more, they are inadequate for establishing a bearing in backcountry or on the water. They also do not work reliably inside cars, metal buildings, or when close to energized electronic devices. If you are striking out into the backcountry or going sailing, you need a “real” compass. If you just want to know which way is north when you travel to an unfamiliar location, this one will do it at a good price. Happy trails.

Been looking for this for ages! Didn't even know it was a thing!
Straight out of the box it looks just as expected. Mounting is just write for your Apple Watch or standard band. But take note, the standard watch band with any kind of components that have magnets will interfere with the compass. Best to use the cloth straps instead. Seems durable. Will be on the watch band from here on out.

It's in the trash now
Due to so many good reviews I bought it and have used it while hiking numerous times along with a Suunto full size map compass. The first couple of outings I noticed you have to tap tap tap the thing to point and when you think it's pointing the right direction if you tap it again it'll just keep spinning. Because I knew which way was north from the sun I kind of knew when it was right so didn't give it much thought although I was already skeptical. Today it was raining and completely overcast so when I kept tapping it it seemed to settle in one direction. I pull out my map compass and low and behold it's pointing the completely wrong direction! If you already know which way is north this compass will work for you. If you do not it's a crap shoot whether it decides to point north or not so is completely unreliable. Do not risk your life on this toy. If you throw a stick in the air it's more likely to land facing north than this thing.

Not Real Comfortable
Been using wrist compasses for 30+ years. Several brands too. This one has a hard plastic "slip-on" band. Others are soft plastic or rubber like. This is a little uncomfortable. Don't think it will work on my wristband. It can have other uses. Compass is easy to read, works well and nice size though.

nice durable compass
It’s fairly accurate it’s off by a couple of degrees but at it’s size and price it’s pretty good slightly too big for my watch but all in all I’d recommend this compass if your looking for something small and easy to read if you need something to be precise I’d recommend a bigger and more expensive compass,

Texan Approved!!
My wife used this on here non-smart watch to know the direction. It is good value and glows in the dark enough.

Don't get lost...nice addition to any watch strap!
I'd just received this slip on compass, so can't properly report on any long term durability or reliability. What I can share is that, out of the box, the compass is functional and relatively accurate. Currently clear with no bubbles. It will slip on easily and perfectly onto a majority of 22mm NATO/G10 styled straps. Any smaller and there may be a bit of play. With a bit of effort, I can squeeze this compass onto a couple of my 24mm Zulu styled straps as well. It is a closed system, so slip on versus clip on to straps. Lume is okay. Hope this info helps.

Ya get what you pay for.
Great until it isn’t. Does not like the cold. Lasted one season. Bubble formed at -20C and just got bigger when it warmed up. Never cleared.

Lucky it fits well.
Fits well with Casio MRW 200. Not recommended for watches with thicker bands.
