IA Stands ECT3 Music Sheet and Tablet Tripod Stand with Interchangeable Tablet Holder

Terrific product for musicians on the move.

I'm returning ECT1 Folding Music Stand for Sheet Music with Tablet Holder because the tablet shelf is just not deep enough to hold a tablet with its case attached. I went thru a few emotions when purchasing this thing. 1, The cost! I am old school so paying $60 for a stand is unheard of in my day. Then as I assembled it, I fell in love with it. I admit I use a rugged case. What musician doesn't; but two things: 1. The tablet shelf isn't even deep to hold my wife's tablet with its slim design. 2. Fabricating the tablet shelf to be either adjustable or at a minimum 2 - 3 inches deep would have had me sold! Failed on that alone. I will keep looking for another stand that will satisfy needs.

This is a great stand - it holds my pages open : ) and the option to have by tablet supported is fantastic! I can view virtual lessons. Easy to assemble - sturdy. I love it!

I like the versatility, and it works well for my needs. So far it seems built well enough also.

I just received this stand, this order, and it came with a broken metal sheet music holder and the tablet stand extension arm is defective (it's crooked...so if I had my iPhone setup to take a video the video would be crooked). The metal sheet music holder, yes, has a piece broken off but also on the other side it looks like it's missing the silver cap and it, too, would soon fall off. Needless to say I am none too pleased! After spending a good amount of money on this stand I expected the workmanship to be top notched and at least the quality control process to have caught the extension arm not having been properly fastened. I'm hoping this is a fluke and I have ordered a replacement. I'm not feeling too comfortable that I made the right decision, though. And, of course, the only numbers for this company are outside of the USA. Well, all I can say is buyer beware...based on what I received, you might have to deal with some frustration with the return process and in the end not getting something that actually works.

I have been moving away from paper sheet music to using an Amazon Fire Tablet. This stand is great for allowing me to clip the tablet into place. It also allows the option of using sheet music for some songs and the tablet for others. I wish it would also fit my 12.9 inch ipad Pro because I like the bigger view, but I've adapted to using the 10 in fire, and this stand works great.

I chose this for my son who recently transitioned from piano to violin. The stand is pretty clunky, though it is very versatile. I was surprised at the places where durability in material seemed skimped on (the sheet music tong/holders). It's portable but a bit more cumbersome than the more traditional folding metal stands.

Was able to fit a 12'TABLET in portrait by drilling another hole on the mounting bar and removing a small locating bump. Much better for full paces of music. Wish seller would not use USPS. Took 10 days from Cal to hawaii.
