Cantu Extra Hold Edge Stay Gel, 2.25 Oz

I use this edge stay gel on my entire head after a shower to keep that wet hair look. It works really well. I took the picture 8 hrs after I applied the gel. This day was very humid and hot and my hair hasn't looked better.

It seems to have a flawless hold initially, but it does not hold through throughout the day. In addition to an unimpressive hold it also flakes badly. The one positive is that it doesn’t leave the hair feeling dry and brittle like other products.

I have thick and coarser hair and this does the job and provides slick and shine without being overly sticky, and difficult to wash out. It is the most versatile stuff I've used. It’s okay if you don’t like a very strong gel on your edges - I got it for my daughter but I sometimes use it. Unfortunately it’s not as great when you sweat because it runs off.

J'ai utilisé ce produit quatre fois à ce jour, et à chaque fois ce produit n'a tenu qu'une heure ou deux maximum. J'ai tenté la méthode avec un ruban en soie pour plaquer les cheveux après la pose, avec le sèche cheveux, séchage à l'air, en mettre plus, en mettre moins... Rien ne marche. J'habite un environnement très humide et je transpire facilement (bien que pas plus que n'importe qui!), et mes contours étaient systématiquement défaits après même pas deux heures. A fuir.
