SEEMS GOOD....READ ON....
Not what I expected (or I guess with QM it is what I expected: arduous with mucho extremo math!) as the book is thin and much less problems than the usual Schaum's (only 200), however it seems to have, on average, the lengthiest problem solutions of any Schaum's book I am familiar with. The book is way over my head especially as my math is very rusty, but upon looking at it I would guestimate it is fairly good as one can usually tell at a glance how good a Schaum's book is. I did not take one other reviewers commentary seriously (bad mistake!), as this is not a good book without ones deep understanding of the subject so my advice is to only buy this book if you are a guru already understanding complex number differential equations, great grasp of momentum, linear algebra, operators (must be well rounded in math and have good understanding of QM to well use this book).....The book will probably be worthless to me but for some grad student it is probably perfect. Again it is not for some undergrad person starting out on the subject unless it is used as a secondary reference only. Thats my opinion that does possibly have some grains of salt in it: I don't know! My 4 star is based upon intuition only as by the time I understand the book it will be decades from now!

Outstanding
This is how I learn quantum. I use this book weekly, while my Shankar sits on the floor. If you are taking quantum at either the graduate or undergraduate level, do yourself a favor and buy this book. At least your homework will go easier.

Too Advanced
I have taken an introductory course in quantum and am now studying intermediate quantum. This book has been of no help. This book is way too advanced and should be entitled, "Schaum's Outline of Quantum Mechanics for Post-Doctorates of Physics."
