Does this handle fit a Southern Motion recliner

You'd better check your original handle's shape and size. This recliner handle size is 3" x 3.5". If your shape and size are the same as this handle, it will work for and it can connete with your original cable. Thank you

It works but...cable is too long, anyone know how to adjust cable length?

You can re route the cable, but rather use the original cable

I appreciate all the answers about removing my cable. Yes I have removed the retaining clip, but have still not been able to remove the cable. Help?

I personally have not had to remove the cable, however, if you type it into YouTube, it will show you how.

I have a la-z-boy reclining loveseat that i bought 5 years ago. cable connection is opposite end of this handle. will this work?
