kwb Mobile Drill Stand with Drill Chuck

I needed to drill some precise holes in kitchen cabinetry for light fittings. Worked perfectly. I have since started using it to do a lot more. I see some reviews have criticised the precision you get with this - and it sound like someone wanting a bench drill to do precise engineering work. This is not a bench drill. It is an aid / guide to drilling straight or angled holes. I have used it now for carpentry and decking - and for drilling masonry and it for me it works fantastically well. Great quality, easy to use and adjust. 5 stars.

Well packaged and well made to, I've only used it with my cordless drill and it's great for precise and straight drilling. Well worth getting especially for the price.

Ive been using this to drill 25mm holes in scaffold board with a forstner bit and 8mm dowel holes. There is a little bit of play but it drills pretty straight holes. Good quality tool and easy to use.

I purchased this to drill accurate 22mm holes in a custom MFT top I’m making. It was easy to assemble and drill the 100 holes I needed very accurately. I’d read the negatives in other reviews, however, I was not expecting just how well this works. It will be invaluable for my future projects.

I bought this in order to get a load of straight cuts without investing in a bench press. However, there were some issues with it - one being that there's way too much give / movement for my taste. I guess if you don't mind ±2mm or so it will be okay for you. Secondly, the base not very reliable - using a handle isn't really going to be useful for accuracy either. Because there are small rubber stanchions on the base, it's hard to get a suitable alignment - especially when dealing with 100mm bullnose skirting - which is what I was using. I guess, in the end, there is never going to be a fantastic alternative to a bench press for this sort of work.

Considering the price this is a decent way to adapt a standard drill into a controlled vertical drill. It did a decent job of making straight dog holes in my workbench top. It is best used by screwing the base plate to a flat board (there are 4 available mounting holes), and clamping the flat board in the required location to drill the hole, if your application lends itself to this - this keeps everything secure and aligned. The biggest flaw is that there is too much play in the bushes that slide on the guide rods, meaning the drill bit can rock slightly in all directions.

I’ve given this Mobile Drill Stand five stars for the price I paid for it. The drill stand is OK you can use it for a number of activities from your work shop to site work. The main reason I purchased was to make certain when drilling holes I was getting perfect centre position after setting work out. I purchased this with out checking what it’s made out of. If I was to buy again I would have spent more money on a metal stand.

If you need to be certain that you are drilling square to a surface this does the job

Very handy and stable solution for milling perfectly vertically, including a stop for accurate depths. I had to mill some 115 identical 1 cm deep holes with a fixed diameter of 28mm in 2 cm thick wooden bars for a presentation board and with this tool as a help, all went very well.

Funziona molto bene, fa quello per cui è stato progettato e lo fa pure bene, per il prezzo che ha è normale che non sia preciso al ventesimo di millimetro. Prodotto molto soddisfacente, stabile e sicuro, il mandrino fissa bene le punte e non tende a muoversi in fase di foratura. E' possibile rimuovere i piedini di gomma per creargli una base ed avere maggiore sicurezza di stabilità in fase di forature angolari su materiali duri. Avendo provato tanti altri dispositivi di altre marche per la foratura verticale senza trapano a colonna questo è il prodotto che ho apprezzato di più e che sicuramente riutilizzerò ogni volta che ne avrò necessità. Unico difetto / non difetto il regolatore di profondità, funziona e rimane stabile, ma se proverete ad utilizzarlo per fermare il mandrino a fine corsa sappiate che la molla vi fermerà prima che lo raggiungiate essendo, quando compressa al massimo, più "alta" del regolatore di profondità.

Heute geliefert, gleich ausprobiert. Erste,kleine Aufgabe: mit einem 16mm Forstnerbohrer ein Stück Holz bearbeitet. Alles bestens, Bohrloch ist schön senkrecht, Kraftaufwand hält sich in Grenzen. Tiefenanschlag funktioniert, Verarbeitung scheint sehr dauerhaft zu Sein. Ersetzt natürlich nicht die stationäre Tischbohrmaschine. Den Anspruch erhebt der mobile Bohrständer von kwb aber auch nicht.

très bien pour perçage délicat de diamètre moyen , ça vibre si on est trop gourmand ,attention ce produit ne permet pas de remplacer un perceuse a colonne comme certain le pense au vue des commentaires que j’ai pu lire il faut arrête de croire au père noël. mais fonctionne très bien ma permis de réaliser un perçage au centre d’un chevron sur 30cm sans difficulté un peu de savoir faire reste nécessaire pour avoir la un précision correcte
