My cat had been dealing with a pretty serious over‑licking issue. She was removing patches of fur, and it was clearly stressing her out. My cat has pretty high anxiety and with FIC, that can be a death sentence. He had a pretty bad flare up after we had moved to a new place, but this stuff really helped him relax. I, honestly, can't really smell much from it, but as long as it keeps my baby content, that's fine with me. It just needs to sit there, silently, and keep him at peace.

Years ago, I tried Feliway for the three Maine Coon brothers we had. At that time, it was a spritz in a small bottle. My goal was to stop the marking contest that had developed among the brothers. At that time, I saw no effect. Twenty five years later, new life and different cat. I'm on my third refill for the plug in and just ordered more. I acquired a gently used neutered female Himalayan. Said to be 4 years old, vet says closer to seven. I noticed a difference after about a week. She was not a problem but seemed less comfortable than I had hoped. The Feliway has made a noticeable difference in her behavior. She's much more affectionate. She's now seeking me out for petting sessions. Her posture has changed. She previously seemed to perch wherever she sat. Now, she stretches out and "becomes one" with her resting spot. She watches a couple neighborhood strays from the windows and the sliding glass door but I don't think she knows what they are. I put peanuts on the steps and she's been face to face with a squirrel or chipmunk and will occasionally jump at them. She's and only cat with a lonely old lady now. She'd lived in an apartment for the last four years and the background before that is a mystery. Her previous mom was re-homing her as she prepared to enter a nursing home. I went from thinking, "what have I done,"to thinking she's pretty cool company. I was told she was unable to meow (?) due to a "voice box injury," but she emits an occasional squeaky attempt and I am thrilled. The vet said that if she can purr, she can meow if she wants to. She purrs like a motor boat. So, we will see if our conversations increase. I love the back and forth talking that I have done over the years with previous feline companions. I use one plug-in in my 1100 sqft house. I have noticed that she often lies in the central hallway where it's plugged in. I will continue to use Feliway. I've seen no problem with the plug-in unit. It seems like a smart dispersing option. No smell or leaking. I've replaced them at 25 to 28 days. She's so much more relaxed. I no longer have buyers remorse about the cat. She's a keeper now.

Unfortunately the diffuser has not helped my two cats. Also, when I removed the diffuser from the socket it was very hot.

I was skeptical and did not expect much. I was concerned it might be a placebo thing. I originally bought this about 2 years ago and didn't notice any change in my car at all. However, about a month ago my neighbor got a dog. (Bear in mind, I live in attached housing, with a suite next door, and we share a wall. The wall at the front of my kitchen is the back of the bedroom of the next door unit. My neighbor turned this bedroom into their new puppy's room.) Keep in mind also, as I said, I'd tried it before because my cat has mood swings that sometimes unexplained. But she began acting weirder and more violent than normal. She would attack me without warning (abnormal), and refuse to snuggle with me at night, which was our normal routine. She would bite, hiss, hide, and sulk and I wracked my brain for a reason to this sudden change, including changing my body products back to unscented and repeatedly checking the litter and her body for signs of illness. (She would barely let me let her even.) To no avail. The only thing I could think of was she could smell, hear, and sense the dog who was whining a lot during the day. Desperate, I decided to try again, else I was going to take her to the vet to check for a UTI or other invisible physical problems. The first day I noticed nothing. But each day, she became more and more friendly and within a week was seeking me out to sleep on my chest again. In fact, she has been slightly friendlier than she was BEFORE the dog. I am in shock and so grateful to have my friend back. This video was taken about a week after starting Feliway. I will say, she is still moody and that's just who she is, but she is back to her sweet self and significantly less angry.

I swear by this product for my anxious cat. I can see a noticeable difference in her when the diffusers run out. Worth the money! Makes her happy and relaxed and playful.

I have a sensitive senior cat who doesn’t like change much as cats do, We plug in the Feliway pheromone and it calms him down. I love how you can purchase 6 rather than a single pack. Delivery was fast and condition was fantastic .

Luckily the item is in a plastic container. Maybe the supplier is trying to be green. Item within is ok.
