Brass Jaw Flat Nose Parallel Pliers
D**D
Does one job well
The materials and construction are good. The handles seem very far apart with an awkward curve to them which just doesnโt seem conducive to detail work. I wrapped them with electrical friction tape and that seemed to help a bit. They do a job that you just canโt do with serrated jaws or jaws that are not parallel so Iโll live with them. I would feel better if they were $5 less than current price.

Brass jaw parallel pliers
Action not so smooth even after cleaning & oiling. One spring was bent and not seated properly, I managed to fix that. Some rust spots inside handle. When I squeeze it closed all the way it gets stuck and doesn't return open.

Metalwork
I have an all steel parallel plier that lost its springs and I was unable to repair the hole. I decided to buy a new pair with the brass plates to help with non marring of my silver. These did that job well. However, I still rounded the edges of the jaws to be sure. For the price they are fine. However, what I did not like is they do not close perfectly parallel. The back of the jaw has about .5 to 1.0 mm open then tapers to closed about half way to front. So far, this has not been too much of an issue formy work unless I have very thin gauge metal to work.My other issue is the jaw opening clearance. It is not as wide as my older, cheaper pair. If I need wider opening, I have to use my old floppy (no spring) ones.

Handy
The soft brass is awesome for not marring finished surfaces... but the jaws arent perfectly parallel. It's close enough for most applications but if you want a tight solid grip on something it will still only tend to grip closer to the throat of the jaw.

Mazbot pliers. Good value for the price
Good value for the price. Jaws close evenly. Stamped construction, but for the copper and silver work I do they should be fine.

Good quality for the price!!
First pair of parallel pliers, overall quality seems ok for what I paid. Time will tell.

Very nice fit and finish
I have three pairs of parallel pliers. I have one made in the USA (Sargent), one made in England (Maun) and this one made in Pakistan. To my surprise, this is the only pair hat has a tight joint, and where the jaws are actually parallel. The jaws have a nice ground finish. This pair of pliers was the least expensive but is made far better than the US and English ones.

Excellent quailty pliers
Purchased these flat pliers to assist pulling leather stitching needles through. These pliers have a brass grip as well as a very flat and parallel grip. My needle remains very smooth and doesn't get marred. Recommend these piers if you need a firm non-marring grip.
