Very very good.. not grainy at all! Smooth and crispy! I rinse them all and air-dry for several days on paper towels. Do not eat more than 2 per day, and also chew them gently after sucking/soaking in mouth for few seconds, to avoid any damage to teeth.

Definitely not edible, if you are looking for a earthy flavor keep away from this item . Total not worth it tastes like chemicals.

I appreciate it coming in smaller pieces. They are bite size and make it easier on chewing. I rinse them off with water and let them air dry on my window sill. Perfect earthy taste straight out the pack but i just prefer to rinse the excess powder off. Great mixture. Some are sandy, some are super crunchy and flaky. Yummy!

This is the best chalk hands down. Crunchy, earthy, just good. Its harder than chalk a actually because it's slate obviously but I love it, bought it 14 times and I think I'll be buying the rest of the inventory lol. Think I'll quit when they run out as this is the second best chalk I ever had and the first one went out of stock as well. I will say you get some boxes that don't have as much as they should or have lots of broken or dirty pieces. I always find my box completely empty at the end no crumbs or pieces left at all. Enjoy If you are a earthy chalk lover. Updated edit Unfortunately I ordered a new batch and it's not the same at all. I was so disappointed 😞 not the same taste, amount, or cut. The new taste is not for me.
