Control GX 2-in-1 Grey Reducing Shampoo and Conditioner, 118ml

I'm 67 and lucky enough to have inherited good hair! My hair naturally stayed quite dark but as the greys crept in I have used this 2-3 times a month and it works great. It's exactly what I wanted: easy to use - shampoo on, rinse off - and subtle. Some hair colourants are a bit of a performance or else show in certain lights. This is simple to use and looks quite natural. I have used this for years and have had no problem with scalp irritation or any other issues. Everyone responds differently to chemicals, but personally I recommend people to try this.

This works slowly, it can take a week after using it for full darkening to happen, so do not overdo it. I find that once a week will take the edge off grey hair and leave it plausibly a bit darker, enough to stop people treating you like a white haired old fool without making it obvious you colour your hair ( although nothing wrong with men colouring their hair, women have been doing it for ever ). By the way, use gloves when applying it and keep an old towel for drying you hair after you used this product, as it will make dark patches on towels. Use gloves because this product attaches itself to keratin of your hair and your nails are also keratin, so you will end up with dark nails no matter how you scrub them afterwards. I am very wary of using any separate conditioner on my hair because I suspect that a coating of conditioner on your hair may well prevent this product from working.

I’ve been using this shampoo for a few weeks now and the results are gradual but noticeable. It’s easy to use as part of a normal hair washing routine, and the colour change looks natural rather than sudden. Hair feels clean and conditioned after use, so it works well as a 2-in-1 product. It does take some time to see results, so consistency is key, but that’s expected with this type of product. Overall, a convenient option if you want to reduce grey hair gradually without using traditional dye.

WORKS VERY WELL, SEEMS TO WORK BETTER ON MY EYEBROWS AND BEARD THE THE BEARD ONE TBH

It does stop grey, but it turns your hair black. I look like an emo. My hair is black with a purple hue under the light. Its dramatic. I suppose it would be good if you have dark hair already, but if you are light brown or blonde DO NOT GET THIS. There is a "for light hair" version which I havent tried because I need some hair dye to get my colour back to natural

This is a great way to bring the natural colour back to your hair. My Husband uses it and it has darkened his hair considerably. He used to use Just For Men hair dye which gave an unaturally dark colour. He was in hospital for some time and his hair turned really grey so he tried Contro; GX and now uses it once every couple of weeks. It has restored a natural looking darkeness to his hair, not an artificial looking colour. A great result! It is also suitable for Women so, whatever your natural colour, it will gradually restore it!

This used to work really well - the laat two times Ibhave bought it, it seems to be much, much weaker and washes out almoat immediately. I am sure something has changed.
