I am an adult learner and this is my first real piano bench. I was repurposing other chairs till now. This bench seems like well made and is comfortable. I have not sat on it for long periods so I can’t comment on that aspect. After getting this bench, I realized I I should have bought a proper piano bench as soon as I bought my digital keyboard! This is a very good quality bench, with a comfortable, smooth seat, excellent material, and a convenient storage compartment. It is sturdy, simple to assemble, and is the most comfortable bench I've ever used. Unfortunately, it is shorter than advertised, at a little over 18.5". The fact that it is not height-adjustable is a significant drawback. Were it not for the height, I would have happily kept this bench. Of course, it depends on the height of your keyboard and your personal height. For its quality and good price point, I would recommend trying it. It can always be returned.
