I have been a fabricator and Tech, an engineer on the shop floor and on site daily, and a life long deep DIYer for 60 plus years. Work hands-on auto, metal, woodworking, electrical, carpentry, chainsaw, you name it has been on my face and beard. I have used OSHA rated eye protection for most of my life - and for the big stuff like grinding or auto or machining or even weed whacking, this one is by far the best face shield I have ever used. Thick, good fit, great view, and great eyeglass clearance. Obviously, it's not for some things - if I were painting or mixing, I would use a paint-med shield and toss it after use. But they don't stop the broken grinder wheel pinging off the plastic or arc metal or the serious flying stuff. This is a serious mask for serious work. It won't last forever, but I haven't had a scratch yet. On all my shields, when I look at my shield and see the damage that says replace me - that damage stopped at the shield - better it than me. Now, I don't grab the shield part with my grit-filled glove to lift it, like we don't do to any shield plastic, and I only clean it with a soft shot of air, so that helps. Very good shield.

This face shield is tops. The visor appears to be polycarbonate -- thick, clear, and impact resistant -- as a face shield should be. The full tight wrap provides maximum protection. You are also less likely to bump into things with this design while it comfortably keeps more weight closer to center. The material used on the harness is pliable enough to absorb some shock when lightly bumped. Don it and gently move your head from side to side... the harness stays put while the visor slightly wiggles. This is good, not bad - it stays secure. This translates to comfort. The wide open gap at your forehead means good airflow and less fogging. Easy adjusting harness ratchet. Side friction knobs have good travel for smooth visor-lift to your liking. Directions say to wipe clean only -- no soap, not even water, so it sounds like the anti-fog on the visor is a buffed on topical coating. Includes three spare sweat bands. I use a plastic visor face shield for forestry work. I wear the face shield when I am managing brush pile fires that typically have a lot of hot ash and logs that need to be moved around in the fire. The helmet is very comfortable and substantial. The face shield plastic is fairly thick, and has good visibility. The shield fits a lot better to its frame compared to a less expensive helmet I used for a couple of months. This is a great product.

Fit: It's hard for me to find well fitting PPE. I've been searching for a face shield, especially a comfortable one, that fits my small head and 5ft frame. This does. Obviously, the shield is long but doesn't restrict movement when down. However, my husband, over 6ft and a has large head, think can't buy a hat off the shelf - large. He borrowed it this weekend and also got a proper fit. That surprised me. Set up: Took all of a minute. Read the instructions, put visor in place. Adjusted the visor hold tension and the band tightness. Done. Comfort: I wore it while I completed my task. Raised the visor and didn't take it off for ages. I basically forgot I had it on. Light weight enough for my little self. Safety: The first task was grinding rubber, metal and plastic. Nothing got through. I felt the melted plastic that hit my legs, so none hitting my face was a joy. I deliberately say joy, because my PPE searches are long to get the fit right! Cleaning: It got covered in tiny flecks of melted plastic. Wiped it with a microfiber cloth and they transferred straight off. There was a static feel to it as I wiped. But that was all it took, a few seconds and it was done. Overall: I'm a happy girl. It fits, it's comfortable and it kept me safe. Finally, I get to protect my whole face, not the hit and miss with glasses protection. Absolutely worth the money.

No shop should be without one. Well made with quality components. Great visibility, light weight, adjustable headband.

Easy to assemble. Easy to adjust. Face coverage is perfect. Doesn't weight much.

Update 1/13/2026: NoCry support was stellar with this. (Thanks, Charlie!) I reached out to them at the same time I submitted the original review, and within an hour, they reached out and told me they would send me a replacement, and less than 43 hours after my initial email, I received the replacement shield. The new one works great, and every interaction was prompt and VERY courteous. These folks are great! Amazingly good customer service, and I will buy their stuff whenever given the opportunity. Excellent company! Original title: (was:Not adjustable/securable, unusable) While assembling the face shield, the instructions say “turn the knobs to secure it together” to get the shield securely attached to the headgear. Neither of the knobs would turn at all. The online video referred to in the printed instructions does not exist. When I tried harder one snapped off entirely. I’ve asked the company for advice, will update if I hear back. If they can’t assure me of what to do, I won’t even replace it.
