Amazon Basics Trash Bags, Tall Kitchen Drawstring, Unscented, 13 Gallon, 200 Count, Pack of 1, Packaging May Vary

These bags have become my go-to kitchen trash bags. They fit standard 13-gallon cans perfectly, the drawstrings are strong, and I've had very few issues with tearing or leaks. Even when the bag is fairly full, it holds up well when taking the trash outside. I also appreciate that they're unscented, so there's no artificial fragrance competing with whatever is in the trash. With 200 bags in the box, they last a long time and offer excellent value for the money. If you're looking for dependable everyday trash bags without paying premium brand prices, these are an easy recommendation.

They are almost identical to hefty bags!! Worth it!

I bought these trash bags on November 21, 2022 and it's 6/16/2026 right now and I still have some left. these trash bags are probably going to last me over 4 years, (i bought the 200 pack) and i never had a problem with them once and they fit perfectly into my trash can. they're sturdy, they don't stretch when i put them over the trash can and they fit perfectly. i honestly can't think of a complaint of these trash bags, and considering almost 4 years of use without a problem they definitely deserve a 5 star review. if you have a small trash can you like to keep next to yourself, these trash bags work perfectly, definitely give them a try.

I have been using these Amazon Basics 13-gallon tall kitchen trash bags, and my experience so far has been a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the overall quality of the plastic material and the drawstring closure feels decent for an everyday household trash liner. They fit nicely into a standard kitchen garbage can and look like they should handle a normal load without any major issues. However, I have already had a few bags rip open unexpectedly when there was hardly anything inside them. It wasn't an issue of overloading or stuffing sharp objects to the edge; the plastic just split with minimal weight. I am not entirely sure if I just happened to get a bad batch with a few defective bags down the roll, or if the overall puncture and tear resistance is just lower than expected. They still function fine for lighter trash, but because of the inconsistency, I have to be a little more careful when lifting them out of the bin. They are a decent budget option, but keep an eye on them if you are carrying anything heavy.

The quality has been consistent from box to box. They fit the can well and have held up without regular tearing or leaking.

The purchase is fine the price is fluctuates but it's okay I like the unscented bags because the other ones irritate my sinuses to the point where I have to cough constantly so the unscented bags are perfect for my family I enjoyed them I always purchase this particular one they're viability they were easy I wish they didn't but that's okay they serve their purpose

These Amazon Basics 13-gallon trash bags have been perfect for keeping up with it all. The bags are strong enough to handle a full load without tearing, and the drawstrings make them easy to tie up and remove when they're full. I've used them daily in my workspace, and they've held up well even when dealing with heavier cardboard and shipping materials. The 200-count box lasts a long time, which is a huge plus when you're going through trash bags regularly. The unscented design is also nice since it doesn't add any strong odors to the work area. If you run a small business, ship products regularly, or just generate a lot of packaging waste, these bags offer excellent value and reliability. They've become a staple supply in my trading card workspace.

These trash bags actually feel thicker than our normal (Glad forceflex) and they seem to work out ok and for the price, I'll deal with them. But we're used to those force flex bags...and with those, there is a lot of stretch and you can always jam a little more into the bag. But these Amazon bags, despite feeling thicker...they just can't handle some things like the forceflex ones did. Even putting a thin box in the trash...like the box the crackers comes in...it rips the bag. And maybe it's a good thing because we now separate those thin boxes and put them out with the other boxes for recycle. Anyway, we don't have trash pick up here. We have to take our things to the dump ourselves. We go two or three times a month. So far, these bags seem to hood in the odors pretty well because nothing has torn through our garbage yet. Other than when they rip (which they usually do along the seams) they don't leak anything out but I'd like to note that we freeze any liquid trash as well as any really strong smelling trash (like the foam things meat is packed on) until we go to the dump so the smells are minimized anyway. They fit the kitchen can like they should. It's a standard size kitchen trash can. Nothing special. They're a normal white color. We don't use them for anything but trash and dog waste so I can't speak for how strong they are but I guess if you wanted to use them for protecting something in storage from dust or something, you certainly could. For what I paid for them, they're fine for us. We just had to learn not to overstuffed them. They seem fine but I wish Amazon would make a forceflex trash bag. 06/07/25 I'm updating my review. We are almost to the end of our 200 bags. They weren't tearing down the side. They were just never sealed along the side. These bags came in 2 huge rolls and the last 15 bags of the one roll and over 30 bags of the next roll were like that. We didn't notice it until after we were taking them from the can and that one side seam just opened up. After we started paying attention to it, we found a lot of the bags weren't sealed on the one seam when we put them into the trash can empty. They're cheap. I understand that. But we won't be buying anymore. Cheap doesn't make me feel better about having to sweep up old coffee grounds or whatever else fell out of the bag because the seam was never sealed properly. For all that, I'll stick to Hefty or Glad.
