Mole Repeller Ultrasonic Solar Snake Gopher Repeller Mice Rats Rodent for Lawn Garden Yards

Very disappointed. In San Francisco we have a HUGE gopher problem, these did not work for me. That's not the fault necessarily of the unit, with moles/gophers you never know what will and won't work, and what worked last year may not work this year - I'm letting any SF/Bay Area people know that our pesky critters here laugh at this device and dig right around it.What earned this 1 (or no) stars is the construction of the unit. Like another reviewer, I broke the 1st unit almost right away due to extremely POOR construction. The top of the unit with the solar panel goes into a hollow metal spike that had wires running through it. Once you get it in the ground if you need to move it or re-position it, the top detaches from the spike making it hard to pull up, and then the spike detaches from the tip of the spike! leaving the stupid tip, attached to wires that are attached to the solar panel of the unit, in the ground- SNAPPING THE WIRES! Who thought this was an awesome design??? It makes this a one-time use product in that once you get it in the ground it can't be moved unless you use a shovel and dig a giant hole to remove this thing. Hey. I already have GIANT holes from the stupid gophes, I do not need to be making more to dig out this thing.I bought 2 packages, 2 units total, obviously I can't send one back since it broke almost immediately, but the 2nd is going back.

The devices comes two in a pack......and i ordered three....total of six....i installed them the way it was suppose to and placed them in the ground...leaving about three to four inches from the top plate from the ground....make sure there place in the sun light....so when the sun comes up in the morning for a few hours before it shifts....place the solars in those sunny areas.....it takes four hours to charge.....so it can be ready for night hours....also when placing in ground.....make sure tbe top place is on right and also the bottom piece is screwed on right.....DO NOT....put in ground and try to turn the device trying to put in ground.....it will come apart....i notice i did that when i try pulling it back up....the bottom piece wasn't connected....so with that being said....2 of the 6 is damage some how....for a few days i went around to hear the buzzing....two i hardly hear....than it rain.....the same two...i didn't hear....pull up and water was in it....don't know how....water was in the long piece that goes in the ground and i saw water sweats at the top of the solar.....i installed them right but don't know what went wrong....that wasn't suppose to happen....i emailed the retailer....and they never responded.....so make sure it's being properly connected snd installed.....the ones thats working in areas....i don't see any mole holes....best to order a lot.....and put them not too far from each other...

Works! Super impressed with this little guy. We did have to do some extra work to it so we could remove it from the ground and relocate it at it a later date (which is best to keep the gophers/mice/voles, etc. on their toes and make sure they don't get used to the sound). We superglued the top to the stake so that when you want to pull it up and out of the ground you don't rip the wiring. The wiring is attached to the bottom and top pieces, and when you try and pull the stake out of the ground, they don't come out together. So, the product could use a bit of design work, but the sound this makes keeps the critters away in my garden, and the battery stays charged really well from the sun it receives.

It doesn't even deserve 1 Star.These come 2 to a pack, I ordered 3 so I had a total of 6 that arrived. I have a few acres, so I just covered more area. Firstly, they are NOT waterproof. They quit working after a few rains. The Solar Panel, and sound emitter were both full of water. Don't waist your money. Secondly, I have more mole mounds than ever before. I would like to say that they might actually attrack moles. But I have no proof to back that statement up, so I won't say it. Thirdly, a mole covered the Solar Top with his mound!!! Yes you read that right. It covered a working emmitter with his mound of soil.

I thought by reviews that the sound wasn't bothersome, but it is. I even got a text from my neighbor a few days later "Beeeeeep, Beeeeeep, Beeeeeep,... did you install something?" I had to move one unit that was about 15 feet away from our bordering fence.Hard to take out once you put it in as the unit comes apart to easily. The trick is to widen the hole first by moving it back and forth / side to side in the dirt so that it can slip out without coming apart.I thought it may have worked well initially, but after almost a month gophers are still making mounds even just a few feet away from them. I've gone with another solution now, the standard victor style traps and have caught two gophers so far. I didn't want to kill them, but CA laws prohibits relocating wildlife.

the design is so that the bottom slides into the top. when you try to get these out of the ground, the bottom stays in the hole. the problem is that the wires stay in the hole too....thus destroying the unit. there s/b a locking devise that keeps the two parts together. in my case, I ruined the first one right away..... but I know I was not the first to do so -

I love this repeller. I didn't want to buy any traps that would kill gophers. This thing works so well I watched it on my security camerawhen the gopher packed his suitcase and moved out of my front yard because he was so annoyed by the vibrations and sounds it makes.Great product if you prefer not to kill. Be patient it takes few weeks.

I bought this to keep snakes and the chipmunks out of my garden. Its only been two weeks but I've had a snake hanging out 10 feet from the Repeller or as it turns out Attractor! The chipmunks have started their own racing track burrowing around and thru the garden. Really disappointed with this product...it does set off a beep noise every 30 seconds, but it doesn't scare anything off.
