I'm unable to unlock it using the directions on the cap. Very frustrating! I may have to go to a locksmith to get it off. Complete waste of money and time!!

The locking gas cap works okay, but it’s often hard to open—especially in cold weather. Really inconvenient when you’re in a hurry.

Did not make dash light come on because of poor sealing

I should have sent this back immediately, as I could tell it was poorly made right away, but tried to give it a chance.....and of course it failed after a month and a half, and left me stranded at the gas station unable to put gas in the tank because the unlock mechanism is junk. Tried to request a new one but no response from the company. If you want a locking cap, try somewhere else.

I like that the fuel is secure. Unlocking has been a challenge so far. For me unlocking is a two hand task, and the space is tight for two hands. Not as strong as I used to be with only one hand. Twice so far I have had to get my channel locks out to open the cap. The closing instructions say turn three clicks, but I have found it difficult to do only three and not four, as the third and fourth clicks happen quickly. Maybe with 4 clicks it is more difficult to open. Still working out the correct process.
