Wonderful strips! Perfect for testing my water before I hit the blueberrie plants! Cost-effective and peace of mind

I was about to leave a bad review and ask for my money back when I read another review that made me think about testing other things. I bought these strips to test the PH for my Orchid fertilizer to make sure it was in the right range. The test for that in my tap water both came out yellow looking pretty much like the original paper but after I tested orange juice, Windex , rice vinegar, and a few other things the papers actually worked. If your paper turns yellow rest assured that it’s in the range indicated by the color indication strips.

A straightforward product. I wanted to experiment with PH, and the strips quickly and efficiently give me that information! I like the plastic case that keeps them contained. Haven't used the droppers yet, but I like that they are a part of the package. A good investment. Very thankful for the information that the strips provide.

The test strips arrived as represented and promptly. I especially appreciated the pipettes. I would purchase these again. All around, an A+ experience.

I got these for testing homemade kombucha. Trying to read between 3-5 is difficult because the shades are so similar. But that's the range I want to gauge... Basically, if you're looking to test kombucha, get something else.

If you need anything more specific than, "Eh, this is probably a base," skip these. They're already the same color as something-in-the-range-of-neutral yellow, so if anything is between 6 to 8, you won't be able to tell if there's a color change at all. I discovered this by trying to measure my soil's pH and discovering that it's something in the range of neutral, which is pretty much useless info. Fairly annoyed by the inability to get an accurate measurement, I tested a substance of known pH--baking soda, which should test at 9.5. The baking soda got a result of something-that's-moderately-a-base green, which is a green that is not even remotely similar to anything on their color chart. I could use my imagination and put it between green 9 and green 10, but only because I already knew that the pH was 9.5. Otherwise it would have been a mystery. TLDR: Only buy these if you want one of three pieces of information--Look, it's maybe acidic; Eh, that's probably kinda neutral; or, Ooooh, a base!
