I actually purchased it to protect my upper counters from the heat that the toaster emits but found myself using it alot to set whatever I take out hot out of the oven; to be honest I never used it as a cutting board ! I gave it a 4 out of 5 because of the quality of the finish.

Good build quality and a perfect fit on top of my Cuisinart multi- function countertop oven. Easy to clean bamboo construction is a big plus. It will probably fit on other brands as well. Top of toaster ovens get quite hot, and this unit has heat-resistant non-slip feet that keep it raised enough to allow air flow. Not only does it make for a handy cutting board, it also makes for a nice place to place other items on, making good use of the space above the oven.
