BEAST
The box was heavier than I expected, and it's not sealed, so make sure to go over the contents. Mine was clearly not opened, and everything was in place. The parts are very strong/sturdy. Not sure if this is supposed to be extra parts, but I got 1 bags of clips with my kit. The vice is a bit loose, the sliding jaw has a bit of play in it, but it isn't an issue when locked on an item. I'll probably fiddle with mine a bit and stick some spacers in there to tighten up the action a bit. Same thing with the little jaw vise. Not an issue, but I wish it was tighter. And the spindle on the jaw is pretty much over-kill for the size. I'll probably cut that down eventually, and shorten it. Of course, this is just me, I like to customize my tools.I'll probably see if I can buy another base plate. There are so many pieces, you can easily have an extra base setup to hold a 2nd piece, or a 3rd.The magnets are crazy-strong. No issues with any of the arms moving around.Every piece grips and holds strongly. All of the clips can be turned/locked with a thumb-screw, and I wouldn't worry about getting them nice and tight, the metal on the clips is solid.Mine came with 4 strips of rubber, and I couldn't figure out what they were for at first, but then I noticed they're the same size and the rubber strips on the jaws of the vice. So yeah, all the parts are rubber coated. The 4 pins are really the coolest part for me. I've never seen/used these before. Perfect size to lay down a PCB on, either using existing holes, or fitting it under the tips. Very useful. All of the magnets have clear plastic covers, probably to prevent scratching of the base. But let's face it, after a lot of use, this thing will look like a properly used tool. I removed the stickers from the 4 pins, it seems to strengthen the magnet grip a bit more. Left them alone on the larger pieces.

Super Strong Magnets
These are essential if you’re serious about soldering. The magnets are super strong and the vice is decent enough as well as the clamp. Great set!

solid quality, pleasure to use
I buy tons of stuff, but I rarely write reviews (when would I even find the time? New stuff arrives as I’m writing this)—and I’m almost never surprised by the quality of what I buy. When I am surprised, it’s usually in a "Oh no, what is this disaster?" kind of way. But this time was different. When the package arrived, I was baffled by how heavy it was, but as soon as I opened it, I knew—this was love at first sight.Let me just say, the only "downside" to this product was the time it took to assemble—it took me a whopping 1 minute and 20 seconds! (Kidding. It was less than that. I probably spent more time admiring it than actually putting it together.) No tools, no headaches, no "why isn’t this piece aligning" drama.Compare that to another product of the same kind, a fast-food meal or two cheaper, that I’m currently returning. That one required screwdrivers, a hand drill, two hours of my time, and a degree in mechanical engineering just to assemble—and even then, it seemed determined to make my life miserable. But this beauty? A dream. Super strong magnets—I didn’t even know magnets like this existed! :) The arms bend perfectly and actually stay in position, which is more than I can say for most products of this kind.Honestly, I’m half tempted to frame this thing and hang it on my wall.Among the thousands of gadgets and tools I’ve bought, this is hands down one of the best. Hats off to the manufacturer. Kudos for the awesome job!

Wire 1 to Wire 2
This is a great tool, it’s a little on the pricy side, but has saved a lot of time using this.

Useful multipurpose magnetic magic arms
I have purchased several of these both on their own and also as part of sets including a base and several other magnetic holders. The magnets have plenty of grip for my purposes. You can attach other lengths of magic arms with 1/4 20 threads to these bases. I only wish they sold the magnetic bases separately.

Extra hands... where have you been all my life??
Yes, this is pricey, but the reviews convinced me it might be worth it. I just now unboxed it and I have to say, the build quality and design of this thing exceed my expectations. It's really a beautiful thing. I'm remembering all those times I asked my wife to hold some wires and well, you know how that goes right? No more holding solder wire in my mouth! Extra hands, where have you been all my life?? I can't wait to try it.
