very well put together, solid basic birdhouse.
As a home builder i can appreciate when something is made well. Right out of the box holding it i could tell it was put together well, the screws holding it are long and solid with heavy threading. Also its solid, legit, cedar wood with a great smell. The door and flap isnt flimsy either. One thing is when youre going to mount it you might want to add an extra hole or backing so it sits against a tree or post better, but really this was everything i wanted and well built from a carpentry standpoint given the price. also has 2 small vents at the top to allow air circulation for the birdies inside.

Solid wood, great birdhouse
My son is obsessed with witnessing birds in nature and specifically wants to see baby birds In their own nest. This birdhouse is our perfect solution. The wood is solid, the door opens easily but the wood remains just as sturdy. it comes with instructions and suggestions. Any bird would be proud to call this home. We cannot wait to get it started.

wood splits easily
likes - looks sturdydislike - received the birdhouse with a note that states be careful w screws do the wood doesn’t split .. kind of funny that the side of the birdhouse has a split from where the craftsman split the wood. Hope it doesn’t split when I try to hang it up and secure it . I figure if you split it there’s a good chance I will too!

Arrived even faster than anticipated
Attractive. Well constructed. It took me longer to gather ladder, level and drill than it did to put up the houses. While the instructions did not say to predrill holes I did as I was mounting one on treated lumber fence post and one on a tree.I had no sooner mounted the first one and was crossing the yard to install the second I already had a little birdie checking out the first. Looking forward to watching for new residents.

Rehousing my "porch birds"
These are very nice well-built birdhouses. I had house finches living on top of outdoor speakers on my porch. Every time I thought to take down the nests, they hatched new chicks! I finally put up these houses and they moved into their "upgraded accommodations". Now we are all happily cohabitating :)

Well made
Well made and simple to install. The screws were included, and the front swings open for easy cleaning.

Took a year, but it worked for Bluebirds!
I bought this house last year. I hung it on a solitary dead tree in a large, native-grass backyard. No takers! I was disappointed. This spring I moved it to a different location. Within 2 days of hanging it, I already had a pair checking it out! The female has been bringing in nesting material, so I think this spot is going to work! (If you look closely at the photo you can kind of see the female's beak peeking out.) So first, this house lasted outside all winter; and two, if you don't get any birds, try moving it to a new location the next spring!

Lovely and well made!
I have wanted an old fashioned bird house for quite some time! Our area has so many different kinds of birds and I needed something just right for my yard. This is it! It's well made, reasonably priced and my questions to the seller were handled in a very timely manner. I'm very impressed and as I write this looking out at my new bird house in my yard! Thank you so much!!
