Nice punch kit to keep in a range bag in case someone needs to change out a firing pin or other gunsmithing needs. Having the right tool makes the job go faster. Includes several size punches, the hammer (with spare pads) and a block to rest the part on.

After 'making do' for years - either using a punch that was slightly too small, or hastily grabbing round stock as a quick fix - I needed a real set of punches for a job where I didn't want to mess around. The steel used here likely is not the best, and the hammer is smaller than my own double ended hammer with the same two hammer faces. It leads me to wonder if the hammer in the set may be too small for some jobs, but it worked fine for the task I completed. The punch itself did the job without deforming and so they seem fine for my light duty use. Providing replacement faces for the hammer is a nice touch. This is a nice set for a hobbyist.
