Will it work on a 2in Olympic barbell?

Yes, that is exactly the bar i use in the gym. No problem.

Has anyone found straps that would help keep the pad on the bar? I've tried two pads. Both slip off the bar.

Search Amazon for “Trilancer Elastic Cinch Straps with Anti-Slip Strips”. They cost $10 for eight, and work great to secure this pad.

Is it secured to the bar once attached?

Absolutely. You can rotate it around the bar but it won't come off. It is very well made.

Does anyone know where I can buy the straps to keep the pad in position?

You shouldn't have to need straps. The pad stay tight to the bar.but no they don't make straps for this
